Chronokinetic Desolation Part 1

"Computer, commence the capsule containment disruption protocol" the Turo AI said immediately upon entering battle mode. Without further delay a powerful jamming network locks the twins' pokeballs catching them by surprise.

"H-hey!" says Juliana, "no fair! You said we were going to fight you!"

"The magnum opus of the scientists Sada and Turo must not be defiled by barbaric invaders, we will spare no measure" says the Sada AI, "you speak of intellect, yet you lack the foresight. You have lost."

Then, a hum, followed by a slash across the machine that causes the entire computer system to glitch out and become static. The twins looked at their pokeballs, and they were no longer locked. Juliana looks over to see an odd deer-like creature, metallic and green. It looks at her, nods, and then disappears. How odd, she wonders if it was sent by Dialga itself. Or perhaps Arceus, one could only wonder.

The professors immediately assess the situation, "jammer neutralized, suspect missing. Initiating the combat procedure of the Paradise Protection Protocol" says the Sada AI, with the Turo AI snapping his fingers.

Two master balls fell from the ceiling, one falling into each professor's hand.

"Behold, a violation against Arceus. Whose existence stoked the movements of Plasma, and brought forth crises among the religions of the world" they said in unison, their eyes blue as they held the master balls. "A mere prototype of the ambitious Silph Corporation, which sought to enforce the most terrifying possibility of all. Total subjugation."

"And now their wrath under one knowledge is to be unleashed upon you, the cur who dare encroach upon the marvelous greatness of revolutionary science!" the Turo AI whirred. The towering time machine glistened as the professors dropped their balls from above, sending out two pokemon at once.

And oh boy were they big.

A slither wing and an iron moth. Volcarona of the past and future, or rather what they were trying to be. Juliana recognizes the moth, however it was far larger than any of the ones she'd seen. It was like one of those totem pokemon said to roam Alola's trial challenges.

Wait a minute...

Powerful energies filled said behemothic moths, imbuing them with even more power. Infused with the energies of Area Zero, as if simulating the effects of Ultra Space's own energies which gave the totem pokemon their effects. The twins now faced two titans at once, overflowing with power, and with perfect individual and effort values, the latter of which were likely bio-engineered to allow for a maximization of all stats across the board. It did not help that a powerful discharge of even more energy is jammed into them, the booster energy Florian found earlier.

"I'll.... Take your lead on this one" says Juliana. Florian takes a deep breath, no turning back now. "Lycanroc, stand by for battle!"

Juliana followed suit, "Lycanroc! I choose you!"

The wolf of the dusk hour and lycan of the midnight hour howled in unison against their gargantuan lepidopterran foes. Simply put, they were in for the fight of their lives.

Despite its size, the slither wing was the one to make the first move. It rocketed forward thanks to its bolstered speed with a low sweep towards the midnight lycan, smashing its tail into the lycan's body. However it doesn't sweep it off its feet. It didn't even hit its legs, the midnight wolf caught it and redirected it to an even worse place, its ribs. It coughs up some spit, the wind knocked out of its body as it feels itself nearly lose consciousness. But it gives the titanic caterpillar-moth a smile.

"Oh?" AI Sada inquisitively assessed.

Lycanroc-Midnight has gotten his fair share of humiliating casual defeats, he's learned to become tougher since then. More guts for more glory! Florian snaps his fingers, "counter!" he commanded. And the lycan obliged. Grabbing hold of the bug's tail, it spun the slither wing around and chucked it right back into the time machine with a force equal to the sum of both the damage lycanroc-midnight received, plus some extra from the lycan itself.
