Chapter 7

The next day was like usual, attending long killing lectures and then spending left time on projects and assignments.

The only thing that was unusual in the entire day was jungkook and
taehyung glancing at each other every 3 minutes. The duo had no idea why
they are feeling so distracted or, should we say attracted to each other.

At first, taehyung felt the eyes on him the whole two lectures and then he
caught jungkook staring at him for the millionth time that day. In the
beginning, omega felt uneasy but when he stared back once he saw no
danger in those sparkling doe crystal orbs instead there was an unspecified longing like Alpha wanted something from him but he couldn't figure it out so they started their glancing competition and even taehyung didn't know when he began to smile back at alpha during the remaining lectures
whenever their eyes met.

Jimin was observing the duo's little game for a while now but he just kept quiet even though he badly wanted to tease his best friend. He held back
because taehyung was finally approaching an alpha without feeling anxious or uneasy so he let them play their games till the last hour of University.

They were walking back home when Pink-haired finally decided to talk.

"So... What is going on between you and jungkook? And don't lie to me I
saw, how you both were practically flirting with your eyes. That's a whole new level of flirting, you gotta teach me that tae." Jimin winked with a
teasing smile.

Taehyung's cheeks warm up as he got caught by his best friend again.

"We weren't flirting, chim. It's just..." The blue head trailed off when he
couldn't even find any justification for his own behavior.

"It's just what? Just looking at each other like you both wanna kiss so
badly?"Blue-haired omega gasped smacking his bestie's shoulder in shock.

"Come on tae tae. I know you since we were in diapers. Do you really
think I won't notice the intense tension between you and Kook? Just say he's your type and that he got your panties wet-"

"Chim!" Taehyung yelled glaring at his soulmate with a flushed face.

"What? Oops, Did I speak the truth?"

"No, you pervert. It's nothing like that." Tall omega defended looking
away from his mischievous soulmate's pervert gaze.

"Fine. I'm stopping my 'torment my soulmate show' but you know tae tae, I'm happy to see you finally trying to come out of your zone. Jungkook is a
good alpha and I'm not telling you to just make him your mate or something. Maybe you guys came be good friends just like me and Hobi.
Give him a chance. If not mate or lover then you'll surely get a good alpha friend." The short omega talked wise and taehyung's mind went to
overthinking places.

The thing is, taehyung at least knows that what he feels for jungkook is
beyond the term 'just friends' and about mate or lover then it was
complicated.

Bluehead's overthinking train halted when his soulmate snapped his
chubby fingers in front of his face.

"Back to the earth, tae. Just let everything be. Don't force anything and everything will fall into its right place. If jungkook is written in your fate then you guys will be together by the end of this year or you're gonna earn a m great alpha friend." Jimin patted his best friend's back with a small smile.

The duo reach their apartment and taehyung has to get ready for his new job's first day which is a library assistant.

Fortunately, omega received the job at the nearest Library of SNU which
is also close to their dorms. He just fresh up a little and bid goodbye to his soulmate who was talking on the call with his alpha.
