In a bustling office in India, the atmosphere is charged with energy as everyone prepares for the upcoming fashion show in New York.
The office is in a state of organized chaos, with employees rushing to complete their tasks before the impending deadline. Amidst this hive of activity, a girl stands out, giving precise instructions to the team. This girl is Dhriti Sharma, the dedicated personal assistant to our heroine and also her close friend.
Dhriti’s phone rings, drawing everyone’s attention. Answering it with her usual calm demeanor, she greets, “Good morning, ma’am.” After a brief conversation, she turns to the employees, her voice clear and authoritative. “Everyone, please pay attention. Ma’am wants to meet us in her cabin to discuss something important. Let’s go.”
"Okay, Dhriti ma’am," the employees respond in unison, showing their respect and readiness.
Dhriti leads the team through the office, a well-organized space that exudes both elegance and efficiency. They arrive at the cabin of their boss, Samaira Rajput, the dynamic founder and CEO of the company. Samaira, a woman in her mid twenties, sits at her desk, radiating confidence and poise. Her office, neither too large nor too small, is tastefully decorated with vibrant colors that reflect her personality.
As the team files in, Samaira greets them with a warm smile. She is dressed in an elegant thigh-length top paired with jeans, embodying a blend of professionalism and style. “First of all, I want to say don’t put too much pressure on yourselves. I know our brand is going to present for the first time on an international stage, and it’s a significant achievement for us. It happened because of all your hard work,” she begins, her encouraging smile lifting the spirits of the team.
"I know there's a lot of pending work, but I want all of you to relax, clear your minds, and then continue working. It will help you a lot, okay?" she adds, her tone both firm and compassionate.
The employees nod, murmuring their agreement.
“Mam, I heard that many Hollywood celebrities and business tycoons will be at the event,” one team member says, excitement evident in their voice.
"Yes, that's true. I know some of the Hollywood celebrities but not many business people," another girl chimes in, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
“It’s okay. I also don’t know many people. Our sole focus should be on presenting our designs as gracefully as possible. We want people to see the excellence of our Indian handicraft designs from every state," Samaira states firmly, her passion for their craft evident.
She dismisses the team, reminding them that only a day and a half remain before their departure. The employees leave the cabin, their spirits buoyed by her words, leaving only Dhriti behind.
Dhriti, noticing the thoughtful expression on Samaira’s face, asks, “What happened? Are you scared?”
Samaira snaps out of her reverie and admits, “I’m nervous. It’s our first time presenting on such a big stage.”
“You told everyone not to stress, yet here you are, stressing,” Dhriti teases gently, trying to lift her friend’s spirits.
"As the CEO and founder, it’s natural for me to stress, isn’t it?” Samaira says, fiddling with a paperweight on her desk.
“Don’t worry. We’ll do our best,” Dhriti assures her, her confidence unwavering.
Samaira nods, asking Dhriti to check the final arrangements. Dhriti agrees and leaves the cabin to ensure everything is in order.
Samaira leans back in her chair, closing her eyes. She whispers to herself, "Hope everything goes smoothly," her voice filled with a mix of hope and anxiety.
Little did she know, this journey was about to change her entire life.
