CHAPTER 20 - DEMON !?

    It was evening,almost night and dark.

    Jin Ling walk around the forest along the others. He saw a figure that look like fierce corpses far away,so he unsheathed his sword and pull it out. He slash the figure but it attached back.

   "Wait what?!",Jin Ling backed away as the figure was now looking at him.

  It wasn't a fierce corpses, it was a demon. As it got near,it was easy to see how it looks like. Red eyes,black figure and dark smoke around it.

   "Jin Ling!",Lan Sizhui pulled out a talisman from his robe."Get back! That's a demon!"

  "SHIT!", Lan JingYi cussed and back away,pulled his sword out and prepared in his position.

   Jin Ling was 3 meters away from the demon, for some reason he couldn't move. The demon stares at him with their reddish eyes.

  Lan Sizhui threw the talisman at the demon but it burned as it hit the demon's torso.

   Within a second,Jin Ling fell down and collapsed with his eyes closed. The demon disappeared in thin air, as if it wasn't even there.

"Jin Ling!"

"Jin Ling!!"

"JIN LING!"

~Jin Ling's POV~
   
    "It's time to wake up,A-Ling",soft tone voice that belongs to a female.

  "Huh?...",I'm familiar with the voice but I wasn't sure who until I open my eyes. To see my mother,Jiang YanLi.

  Why am I here?

  Where am I?..

   "A-Ling,wake up! If not,the food gets cold! You wouldn't want your a-niang's food be cold,would you?",a harsh and yet gentle tone that belongs to a male...my father,Jin Zixuan..?

(A-niang 阿娘 = mother)

  Aren't you guys gone?...

  Help.

  Where am I?..

   But it feels nice?... it's not like the nightmare I used to always dreamed.

 

   "A-Ling,I cook us lotus soup and some dishes! Your favourite!",I could hear her chuckle..

  Tears rolled down from my eyes.

  What is this?...

   Whoever make this.. this doesn't.. look like a joke. It's not real. It's not real. I wanted this but it would. NEVER. EVER. HAPPEN.
