bradys teeth shows as he smiles and turns his head to look at me. he quickly looks back at the road to concentrate.
"uh yes you did! remember last week with gracie and dylan?" he says.
i think back to the day.
"oh- well that was an accident i swear!" i say and watch as he rolls his eyes playfully.
he finds a park outside school and stops the car, putting it in park mode.
"ready?" he asks and grabs his bag out of the back.
i nod and grab my phone, exiting the car. we walk side by side and enter the school. i see gracie and dylan talking to each other.
"see you at english?" brady stops me. i nod and give him a grateful smile. he touches my shoulder before leaving.
i walk over to the two love birds and they both turn to face me. dylan examines to check if i was okay.
"oh hey!" gracie says and squeezes me. i flinch slightly when she touches my arms, but not enough for her to notice.
"hi-" i pause and pull back, looking at my brother.
he smiles at me. "how are you?" he asks. gracie gives us both a confusing look.
"you're both acting as if you haven't seen each other in days." she jokes, except it wasn't a joke.
"oh yeah haha." i say.
"alright.. well i'm gonna leave." dylan says and shuts his locker.
we both nod.
"see you this afternoon?" he says and looks at gracie. she smiles flirtatiously and gives him the doe eyes.
she flutters her eyelashes slightly as he leaves. i stare at the girl in utter disbelief.
she looks at me.
"what?"
"oh my god he finally asked you out, didn't he!" i say and grab both her hands. she giggles and squeals quietly.
"yeah! he asked me just then-" she pauses quickly.
"wait is this okay? like us going out?"
"yeah of course! i love you both and to be fair, i knew you'd become a thing sooner or later." i admit.
she rolls her eyes and jumps at the school bell. "oh god we have sport." she says.
i groan as we walk towards the gymnasium.
"how much you wanna bet that adalines got her sports shorts up her ass again?" i ask.
gracie laughs a bit hard. "oH nO! tHe bAlls gOnNa fLy aT mY faCe!!" gracie mocks her and does they weird hand actions.
i basically piss myself with laughter.
"it's not like she wouldn't have experience with balls flying in her face." i mumble and wipe my tear away.
gracie flops onto the floor in laughter and i catch her arm. "oh my-" i say and pull her up.
