Kierra's POV
It's 4 pm eastern standard time and Kelly and I just landed back in Atlanta. Surprisingly I slept almost the entire flight back so I'm not as jet lagged as I thought I'd be. Kelly insisted on getting herself a rental while she's here and she got herself a hotel room which I'm not happy about, at all.
"You know you can just stay with me right?" I said to her as we got into the car
"Yes but I don't want to do that until you talk to Kelise and make sure she's comfortable." She told me
I truly love that she seriously considers the kids, especially Kelise when it comes to us. It makes my heart happy.
"I understand."
We held hands as she drove the entire way to my house."Come insiiide!" I whined against her lips as we kissed goodbye. As much as I was ready to get to my babies, I really didn't want to leave Kelly.
"Baby you have to go get the girls and if I come inside I don't think that'll happen. Just call me when you get back and they're settled in. Okay?"
I sighed. "Okay, I will."
Exiting the car she helped me get my bags out and walked me to the front door. We kissed once more before she walked back to the car and I watched her pull off before going in the house. I dropped my bags by the front door and went upstairs to quickly shower as change so I could go pick up my babies. Driving to my parents house the only thing that I could think about was how I was gonna tell them about Kelly and I. No my parents aren't homophobic, they love people for who they are but this is different. They've only known me to be with men and the last thing I want them to think is that I'm making a bad decision. Hopefully they understand. I parked in the driveway and then used my key to let myself in. I heard the tv blasting a basketball game from the living room and followed the sound. My parents were sitting on the couch eating sandwiches and watching an NBA game, they're too cute!
"Hey y'all!" I said drawing their attention to me
"Ki! Hi baby!" Mommy said getting up and hugging me. Daddy followed behind leaving a kiss on my forehead and then I sat down next to mommy on the couch.
"How was your trip? You look like you had a good time, you're glowing!" She said
"It was good mama." I laughed trying not to blush. "I actually want to talk to you and daddy about something." I said quickly getting serious
"What's going on baby girl?" Daddy asked a little concerned
"So... um... Y'all know I went on the trip with Kelly, but prior to that she was at the house the night Michelle came as well as Beyoncé. She and I spent the whole night together and got to know each other a little bit, that's how we ended up on the trip. During our time there, I'll just say that a lot happened. Good things! And she and I decided that we were going to give dating a try. I guess you can say we're in the talking stage. I can't necessarily say that I like girls but I do like Kelly, a lot. She's different, I can't put my finger on exactly what it is but the way she makes me feel is... It's something I've never experienced, I can't even put it into words. And I know that this happened in the matter of a few weeks but I just ask that you both trust me." I said quickly before releasing a much needed breath
"Well I'm not upset at that at all. You know I love Kelly and if she makes you happy then I'm happy." Mommy said
"Same here. As long as you're truly happy and she's good to you, I'm good." Daddy added
