I'd never make art for the money
Even though it would be nice to fill the pot up with some honey
I'd never create art for the people
Even if they're the ones that give the artists their upheaval
I'd never try to crank out work just for the fame
Even though I'd be disappointing for not many people to know my name
Because
I'll always make art for free
Because money is not where the poet's emotions be
I'll always make my art for myself
Other people's opinions don't rival for one's self
I'll always have art flowing out of me the same way blood flows out of the veins
Because self-expression, reflection, and dedications are what sustains
