Chapter 12

Lia returned home after a tiring day at school to prepare for her date with Spencer. She felt a mix of nervousness and excitement as this was her first date with someone she genuinely liked. Spencer had decided to take them to a downtown Italian restaurant for dinner, followed by a stroll around town and ice cream. Knowing it would be a bit chilly at night, Lia planned to wear something stylish yet warm.

Lia was all set for her date after an hour. She waited downstairs for Spencer to finish getting ready. When Spencer finally came down, Lia couldn't help but have wild thoughts about him.

"Wow you look really good." Lia tells Spencer.

"Thank you, you look great too." Spencer replied.

Luke dashed out of the kitchen just as they were about to leave, eager to have a conversation with them.

"Before you guys leave we need to set some rules. No sex, Be back before 12:00 and have fun but not to much fun." Luke tells them, making them both blush about the sex part.

The drive to the restaurant was filled with a comfortable silence between them. It only took about six minutes to reach the restaurant. Spencer quickly parked the car and hurried to Lia's side to open the door for her before she could even try to do it herself. Lia felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment but she couldn't help but smile and thank Spencer for his kindness.

Stepping into the restaurant, they were welcomed with beaming smiles and led to a booth at the back, where they could enjoy a bit of privacy. Spencer and Lia settled in quickly, scanning the menu to make their selections. In a matter of minutes, their server returned to take their drink and food orders. As they waited for their drinks to come Spencer and Lia struck up a conversation.

Spencer leaned forward with a curious smile. "So, graduation is next week, how are you feeling about that?"

"I'm nervous but excited to finally be done with high school and wanting to start college too. It's kinda sad especially how fast it's gone." Lia replied, as their drinks were dropped off. "How are you feeling about it?"

"I'm excited too. Mostly looking forward to college and having some more freedom you know." Spencer replied.

Both Spencer and Lia had decided to go to the University of Arizona since it was just a couple of hours away from home. Both of them were very excited to be able to go to the same school and still be close to everyone at home.

As the date went on, they kept their conversation rolling even after their food came out. After getting done eating they headed to the ice cream shop that was just a couple of places down from the restaurant. After getting their ice cream they walked around for awhile before heading back to the house. Lia had a really great time especially it being her first date ever. Spencer had a great time and was glad that Lia had a great time.

Heyyy guys here's chapter 12. I know it's a short one but here's the first date between Spencer and Lia. It's been awhile since ive updated this book it's just that ive been focused on my Mark Sloan book and didn't really have an idea for this chapter. I'm hoping to update this book sometime every week so that I can get this book finished since there's about 10-11 more chapters to go. I will give a heads up after the next chapter there is going to be lots of time skips just so I can get the book finished. Alsooooo thank you so much for 1k reads on this book.
