As Jasper gazed out into the ominous forest, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He knew that they couldn't linger in one place for too long, fearing of drawing unwanted attention.

The faint sound of an incoming call pierced through Leon's ear, catching his attention. Without hesitation, he quickly answered the call. "This is Roost. I've got some bad news, Condor One. With the weather like this, the chopper can't make its approach," Hunnigan informed. "Can you stand by until it clears?"

"Negative. Too dangerous," Leon responded. "We're gonna get out of here and find someplace safe."

"I'm sorry, I wish I could do more to help," Hunnigan said apologetically.

Leon nodded in understanding. "Don't worry. We'll swim home if we have to. Condor One out."

"So what's wrong?" Jasper asked as the call abruptly ended.

"Unfortunately, with the weather being as intense as it is, the chopper can't make it to the extraction point until it subsides," Leon informed him. "Let's go. We need to keep moving."

"Agreed. I'm not sticking around for too long," Jasper nodded in agreement before the trio set off, hoping to find a safer place.

"What's... What's gonna happen to me?" Ashley wondered apprehensively.

"Right now, let's just focus on getting out of here," Leon answered.

"We'll get through this," Jasper reassured her as place a comforting hand on her shoulder, his eyes radiating with a warm and resolute glimmer. "We just need to stick together, so that we can go home."

Ashley's expression relaxed, and she felt a wave of relief wash over her. She sensed a deep sense of trust and confidence in Leon and Jasper, and was comforted at the thought of having them by her side in this predicament that they were in. "Yeah. You're right."

The trio eventually continued their journey through the rugged woods, on high alert for any threats coming their way. Next, they entered through another wooden gate, immediately noticing multiple villagers from the other side. "We've got company," Leon announced. "Keep moving, but quietly. Got it?"

"OK. I'll... I'll try," Ashley responded, her voice trembling slightly.

Leon gestured for the two to follow him as he crept along the dirt path, his hand hovering above his gun. The trio stealthily crept along the path, and with a quick glance, they noticed two docile villagers who were yet to detect their presence. Leon turned to Jasper and gestured for him to take out the other man. The two agents snuck behind them, placing a hand over their mouth before slicing their throats. They gingerly placed their bodies on the ground, trying their best to minimize any noise.

With both of the villagers new incapacitated, Jasper noticed a few villagers surveying the area from above. He equipped his rifle peered through the scope, aligning it with his targets. He took a deep breath, landing a blow through the head of both villagers with precision.
