The Plane was silent for a while and Y/n was still waiting for someone to say something to him about his appearance at the track, as he was given the silent treatment Senator Stren was on the News
Stern: It’s just unbelievable. It proves that the genie is out of the bottle and this man has no idea what he’s doing. He thinks of the Iron Man weapon as a toy. I was at a hearing where Mr Stark, in fact, was adamant that these suits can’t exist anywhere else, don’t exist anywhere else, never will exist anywhere else, at least for five to ten years, and here we are in Monaco realising, “These suits exist now.” and now worst of all a more powerful being shows up and makes that tech look like a ragdoll
Meanwhile Tony had come in holding two plates and heard the whole thing and wasn't impressed
Tony: Mute. He should be giving me a medal. That’s the truth.
Pepper looked up at the plates
Pepper: What is that?
Tony: This is your in-flight meal.
Pepper: Did you just make that?
Tony: Yeah. Where do you think I’ve been for three hours? Come and grab some grub kiddo you deserve it

Y/n goes to sit down and eat when Pepper looked back at him still not happy with him
Pepper: He does not deserve it Tony! He ignored me and decided to show himself to the world
Tony: Well technically it's only the suit that he showed so, if his face was on TV then it would have been a different story, anyway he did good, and I'm proud he kept his cool this time
Y/n smiled knowing at least his father agreed with his actions but it wasn't the end of the argument
Pepper: Tony, I thought we agreed that he should be seen in public using his powers
Y/n couldn't keep quiet for a moment longer as he was starting to feel frustrated with everything that has been going on with him for the past 6 months
Y/n: Why should I hide what I want to be
Pepper: Y/n I know you want to be a hero but your still a kid and in the public eye, being Iron Man is one thing but a superpowered being is something else entirely
Y/n: No it's not! Captain America is super human and you think he hid from the world!
Pepper: That's a comic book Y/n, the real world is different
Tony sat in the seat across from Pepper as the argument went quiet for a moment and she looked at Tony knowing there was something wrong
Pepper: Tony, what are you not telling me?
Tony: I don’t want to go home. At all. Let’s cancel my birthday party and… We’re in Europe. Let’s go to Venice, Cipriani. Remember?
