Nate and Ava sit at the table as Toya puts place of food in front of them.
TOYA- Ava where's your brother?

AVA- crying over Heaven she dumped him.
TOYA- they broke up?
Kyle slugging his feet out of the room takes a seat at the dinning room table.
KYLE- it's a break. Not a break up.
AVA-then why were you crying?
Nate tries not to laugh.
KYLE-I wasn't crying shut up.
TOYA- Ava leave your brother alone and Kyle don't tell your sister to shut up.
AVA- but he's so easy to mess with.
TOYA- Ava.
Ava sighs.
KYLE- I'm not hungry anyway...I'm about to leave out.
TOYA- I'm still taking you to the mall after school right?
KYLE- Oh yeah.
Nate smiles and taps Kyle on the shoulder.
NATE- baby boys first party.
KYLE- I've been to birthday parties before.
NATE- yeah with birthday clowns...this is your first teenage party.
TOYA- you're the teenager of the family now kid.
Kyle has a half smile.
INT. LYNVIEW HIGH SCHOOL- HALL WAY - DAY
Kyle and Dave are walking towards their class leaving their lockers.
DAVE- bro our first party and we're both single this night about to be lit as hell.
KYLE- I'm not single me and Heaven are on a break.
Dave rolls his eyes.
DAVE- so you say.
They arrive to the door their class room and Kyle peaks his head in and looks around.
KYLE- Heaven not here yet?
DAVE- she's probably late so why.
KYLE- She's never late.
Kyle pulls out his phone to face time her.
HEAVEN- ( congested) Hello.
KYLE- oh you're sick.
She sneezes.
HEAVEN- (congested) take notes for me.
Heaven hangs up.
KYLE- that means she's not going to that party...should I still go?
