I'm rewriting The Halls of Westwood to eventually publish! I'm extremely excited and have already started rewriting and tweaking some things. Still considering whether or not I'll be using a pen name or whether I'll try traditional publishing or publishing on my own or maybe even through Amazon. As it is a rewrite, a lot of it is staying the same but I am also going to make some relatively big changes as well. However, I don't want to strain too far from the original story so I have some questions for those of you who have read and enjoyed the story.

What absolutely cannot change?

What did you enjoy most/ what were some of your favorite moments?

What would you like to see done differently?

Are there any changes listed below that you like/dislike? Why?

Here are simplified changes I intend on or have been toying with making to each character, I may or may not adjust this list as time goes on!

Aiden Coldwater

• Adjusting the present interactions with Sebastian
• Expanding on his relationships with his brothers, Olive, and Sage
• More knowledgeable on Shawnee culture and language (I've been taking language classes and learning from my grandma more)
• Expanding on his relationship with Austin and their living situation
• I want to highlight more of Aiden's flaws and thought patterns outside of his addiction and Beau

Austin Blake

• Adjustments to his backstory
• Expand on the relationship with Aiden
• Expand on the importance of dance in his life
• More intense inner monologue

Beau Martin

• Round out his character
• relationship with his father and an older brother that was briefly mentioned and never brought back to because I forgot
• Expand on friendship with Jullian
• Wider realization regarding Lukas and his sense of identity

Jayce Williams

• Change of backstory
• expanding on his trauma because I feel as though his character was heavily neglected and had little to no growth
• More intense passions
• Friendships outside of the main group
• Expand on friendship with Jullian, Aiden and Beau
• More parallel with Markos
• Expanding on him psychologically

Jullian Sanders

• More on his relationship with his parents
• Acknowledgment of issues before Tristan's passing
• His therapy and grief counseling
• Friendship with Jayce and Aiden
• Emphasising the softer and more rugged sides of him

Markos Ariti

• His relationship with Beau and the turning point between ignoring him and adoring him
• His dislike of Aiden
• His friendship with Austin
• His path in and out of the spotlight
