After breakfast, we made our way to homeroom, the suspicion cleared. As we walked in, I couldn't help but notice Mr. Aizawa's stern gaze fixed on me, his usual disinterested expression was not there. I sighed

'here we go again...'

I took my seat, trying to avoid eye contact with him The rest of the class settled in, their conversations flowing seamlessly, nobody noticing what's wrong.

Aizawa finally broke the silence with his usual boring demeanor. "Midoriya, where have you been for the past few days? You disappeared without any explanation."

I swallowed nervously, feeling the eyes of my classmates on me. "Uh, sorry, Aizawa-sensei. I had some personal matters to attend to, and I didn't want to distract the class."

Aizawa raised an eyebrow but didn't press further, simply nodding and turning his attention to the attendance sheet. However, I could tell that he was keeping a close eye on me.

'why does my life have to be this hardddd'

By the time homeroom came to an end, Aizawa approached me with a stern expression. "Midoriya, we need to talk. Meet me in my office after school."

'Oh great.'

I nodded, knowing this was probably a standard ritual.

The day pressed on, and Aizawa's interrogation was temporarily pushed to the back of my mind as we engaged in our regular hero classes.

After the last class of the day, I made my way to Aizawa's office as instructed.

The room was boring, reflecting the weird nature of our homeroom teacher. Aizawa sat at his desk, his eyes narrowing as I entered.

"Sit down, Midoriya," he said, gesturing to a chair in front of his desk.

Aizawa leaned back in his chair, his gaze sharp and unyielding. "Let's cut to the chase, Midoriya. Where were you really during the time you disappeared? And don't try to feed me vague answers."

I took a deep breath, knowing I have to just get through this without any problems. "I understand your concern, Aizawa-sensei. It was personal matters, family-related. I had to visit my mom in the hospital."

Aizawa's eyes didn't soften, and he remained silent for a moment before asking, "Why didn't you inform anyone? You're part of a team now, and your actions affect the entire class."

"I know, and I'm sorry for not communicating. It was a sudden decision, and I didn't want to burden anyone," I explained, hoping my words could guilt-trip him.

Aizawa sighed, seemingly unconvinced. "Heroes don't have the luxury of disappearing whenever they want. We rely on each other. If you're going to be part of this class, you need to understand that."

I nodded, trying to make sense of what happened.
