Class 1A was once again together. All returned from their internships. Each was talking about what they did, and their new skills before class. All Might gave them a big welcome back and a fun little rescue race test to show their improvements. Everyone was surprised with how much Midoriya improved in so little time. It pissed off Bakugo of course. Manami was only able to calm him down so much. Midoriya was moving like him after all.
Then they were told they had a week until finals. She was planning to study and train with Kiri and Kats tomorrow. Kats threatened them if they studied with anyone, thinking he wasn't a good enough teacher. Originally, she and Kiri wanted to go with Yaomomo, but Bakugo grabbed her wrist and forced her back into her seat. He huffed saying only he could teach them. Or in his words, "You don't think I know enough? Maybe I should beat the lessons into your skull!"
School was over now. Manami was currently on her way to the grocery store after picking up Kota from his school.
Kota has been all over Mana ever since she got back from her internship. He's been sleeping in her room ever since she returned. He missed her more than she thought he would. It scares him how much he realized he relies on her. That's the longest they've ever been separated. The only time they're separated is when they're at school. He won't let her out of his sight otherwise now.
They were walking down the street, swinging their interlocked hands. He was holding her bag because he wanted to do it for her, proving he's strong. He was struggling a bit. Her books were rather heavy.
"Well, finals are coming up for me which means that I'll be super busy studying the rest of this week. Kats and Kiri are going to come over. We won't be able to have any fun." She sadly pouts. "So, how about we do something fun first before getting groceries?" Manami suggests. "What do you wanna do?"
Kota eagerly nods, thinking before his face lights up. "Ferris wheel!"
They don't make it to the Ferris wheel because some villains decide to attack a bank that's along the usual path there.
A hero named Galaxy is on the scene, taking care of them. She's easily taking care of the villains by herself. Cops have yet to arrive at the scene. She's sending her galaxy-colored blasts to down them.
It happens fast and outta nowhere, but Manami protects Kota from an accidental combined stray blast then she vanishes. One second she's there and the next she's gone. As if she was vaporized which is what Kota believes to have happened. He drops her bag on the ground as his mouth gapes open. Galaxy quickly beats them after, immediately rushing up to a scream-crying Kota.
Galaxy kneels down in front of him, steadying him by his shoulders. "Kid? You okay? You hurt?" she asks, glancing over his body.
The police and other heroes finally roll in and start to apprehend the villains.
