At Batuk's hospital,
"Ji batiye emergency patient kahan h?" Batuk came in the ward and asked
"Ji sir aaiye yahan!" The nurse said. He followed the nurse "sir, yeh h vo patient" she said showing him the patient.
The patient was a young aged, around 19 years old girl sitting on the patient's bed. Her face was covered with the veil of her saree. A man of around 45 years of age and a woman of 26 years of age was standing over there
"kya hua h inhe?" He asked "inka haath bohot buri tarah se jal gaya h!" The nurse said
"acha, dikhaiye" he said and tried to hold her hand but she put her hand back.
He got a little surprised seeing her this attitude "dekhiye agar aap mughe dikhayengi nhi toh main ilaaj kaise karunga?" He said
"Arre dactar sahab aap apna kaam karo na haath lagana zaroori h? yeh zyada baat nhi krti kisi se!" The man said in a rude voice.
Batuk was surprised seeing his way of talking "Aap sab inke ghar wale hain?" He asked looking at them
"Ji main iski kaki hu aur yeh iske kaka hain" the woman said. He nodded
"Dekhiye, ghaav gehra h, aur iska infection phail gaya h, humein inhe bharti karna hoga" he said
"Arre dactar sahab kuch nhi h, iska toh roz ka naatak h, aap koi chhoti moti si dawa de do thik ho jayegi yeh" he said in the same tone.
"Dekhiye aap mughe mat bataiye ki mughe kya karna h! Inke ghaav ki haalat dekh kar lag raha h ki yeh ghaav purana ho gaya h aur iska infection pehle hi puri baah mein phail chuka h. Inka ilaaj nhi kiya gaya toh pareshaani badh jayegi" he said in a strict voice
"Nurse aap inke yeh tests karva dijiye aur inhe admit kr lijiye" he said writing the report
"Ji sir!" the nurse took the report and he left.
After an hour,
He came in the ward to check her. She was lying on the bed. Her aunt was sitting near her. The nurse was doing the first aid "nurse, reports aa gayi?" He asked coming near them
"Ji sir yeh rahi" she said giving him the reports. He took the reports and started checking them
"Mam vo ward no. 10 ke patients ka glucose drip change karna h" a nurse came told her
"Aa...thik h main thodi der mein aati hu" she said
"Aa... koi baat nhi aap jaiye main yeh kar deta hu" he said
"Thik h sir, chalo!" The nurse left.
He sat on the bed infront of her and cut the bandage. She started trembling with his presence.
He saw her aunt was looking at her with serious eyes. He saw her trembling out of fear "aapko yeh chot kaise lagi?" He asked
"Aa.... vo khana bana rahi thi tabhi chulhe se jal gaya" her aunt said
"Batane ke liye dhanyawad par yeh maine unse pucha tha" he said in a sarcastic way.
She became quiet. He saw that her aunt was continuously gazing at them. He placed the bandage over there and went to a doctor checking a patient on the other bed.
He went near him and whispered something in his ear while acting like taking the scissors. He said and came near her and sat on the bed
"sabhi abhibhavak dhyaan de ki patient se milne ka samay khatam ho chuka h! Ab aap sab jaa sakte hain" the doctor said loudly.
