Batuk came in his room and the telephone rang. "Hello!" He took the telephone

"hello, Dr. Batuk? Main Dr. Rakesh bol raha hu, forensic department se!" The man said "ohh! Good morning sir!" He greeted "Good morning! Aapke father ke baare mein sunkar kaafi dukh hua, aap chahe toh kuch din ghar pad rehe sakte hain!" He said

"It's ok sir main kal se join kar raha hu!" He said "that's appreciable! Well, aapne shayad ek sample forensic department mein check karvane ke liye diya tha, uski reports aa gayi hain!" He said.

"Really sir?? Aap mughe reports fax kar sakte hain?" He asked "yes Dr. Main aapko abhi fax kar deta hu aap vo ek bar dekh lijiye" Dr. Said "okay sir thanks a lot!" He thanked and hanged the phone.

He ran towards the study. The documents had came on the fax. He took them out of the machine. He read the documents. His eyes widened seeing the results. It was found that there was a high dose of anesthesia in Shefalika's food.

Then the telephone rang in the study "hello!" He received the call "hello, batuk?" The man said "ha aarav main bol raha hu, kaho!" He asked

"Yaar tughe forensic report mili?" He asked "haa mili, abhi abhi Dr. Rajesh ne fax ki h" he said "ab kya kare, yeh toh police case h!" He said "main hospital pohonchta hu, Medical officer se baat karte hain!" He said "thik h!" Aarav hanged the phone.

Batuk came downstairs wearing his formal wear and with his doctor's coat hanging on his arm and a few files in his hand.

"Batuk kahan jaa raha h?" Kaka asked in the hall "Kaka hospital jaa raha hu" he replied "par batuk tumne toh aaj ki chhutti li thi na" som asked "ji dada li toh thi par bohot zaroori kaam aa gaya h. Mughe medical officer se milna padega!" He said "medical officer se? Par kyu kuch baat h kya?" Anirudh asked from behind.

"Dada yahan aaiye" Batuk hesitated from telling it infront of kaka so he took anirudh to the study

"Kya hua batuk? Aisi kya baat h?" Anirudh asked "dada baithiye, main batata hu" batuk said in a tensed voice. They both sat on the couch.

"Yeh dekhiye dada, yeh meri ek patient ki report h, iska naam shefalika chatterjee h, iske maa baba nhi h, apne kaka kaki ke saath rehti h yeh. Mughe kayi baar dekhkar aise lagta tha ki iske kaka kaki isse pasand nhi karte par maine zyada dhyaan nhi diya parantu, jab main last day hospital gaya tha, tab iski kaki ne isse aakr khana khilaya, aur uske turant baad isse heart attack aa gaya. Jo khana isne khaya tha maine uske samples forensic department mein bhijwa diye, aur yeh dekhiye report mein yeh aaya h ki uss khane mein anesthesia ki high dose thi. Jiski vajah se usse cardiac attack aaya!" He said showing him the reports.

"Iss hisaab se toh yeh police case Banta h!" Anirudh said.

"Ji dada. Isiliye main medical officer ke paas jaa raha hu, unse discuss karke hi police case file karenge!" He said.

"Batuk, I am proud of you, tum apna kaam bohot hi lagan aur bina kisi swarth ke kar rahe ho, yeh sunkar mughe bohot acha laga" he said placing his hand on his shoulder. He reciprocated with a smile. "Par batuk tumne yeh kaka ke saamne kyu nhi bataya mughe?" He asked

"Dada, Kaka pehle se hi chinta mein h. Kahin ab yeh sab sunkar aur chinta na kar le isiliye nhi bataya. Aap bhi iss baare mein unse baat mat kijiyega" he said.

"Koi baat nhi batuk tum chinta mat karo aur aaraam se jao" He said. Batuk nodded and left.

As he entered the hospital, a few senior doctors qlongwith the nurse staff were already standing there. "Sir Dr. Batuk aa gaye" a nurse saw him standing on the entrance and said. He stepped ahead and joined them "sir, humne aapki patient ke baare mein suna!" A doctor said "yes sir, main isiliye aaya hu" he said "sir, humein shayad police case file karna chahiye, after all agar humse kisi aur patient ke liye aisi koi bhul ho jaati toh vo bhi yahi karte" another doctor said "ji sir par Humein shayad iss baare mein medical officer se pehle baat karni chahiye" batuk said "thik h toh pehle hum unhi se baat kar lete hain" the doctor said.
