Yukiji swayed slightly on the deck of the ship and tried to bring a crate down to the kitchen. They had sailed out to sea only a few hours ago. So far, the girl had not complained, but it was not exactly easy to stay on her feet.

Yukiji was not familiar with life on a ship. She generally found it a little difficult. She wasn't seasick, otherwise she would certainly have thrown up long ago. Nova behaved a little better.

"Come on Yukiji! Don't go limp already!" laughed the black-haired girl, to which Yukiji grumbled slightly. She didn't mean any offense. But Yukiji also knew that Nova wasn't one to mince her words. She always spoke her mind, whether it was positive or negative.

On the other hand, she was shy when it came to boys. Why did Yukiji know that? Well, her father had often organized parties where many noble families were invited. As a princess, she always had to be present.

It was always clear that a marriage candidate was being sought. Even for Sanji, who wasn't really interested in a female at the time. At least not for those girls who were noble.

Yukiji had always talked to Nova about it on days like this. About how the boys were quite arrogant. Always smiling and saying something. And Yukiji didn't like that at all.

Nova was quite reserved in these conversations. From then on, Yukiji had realized that it wasn't really her topic. As nice as her friend was, she had still listened. The Vinsmoke had to be able to let it all out somewhere.

"I'm trying!", Yukiji grumbled back, running down the wooden steps. "Where's Sanji anyway? He was supposed to help us."

Nova grinned. "He's discovered the kitchen." Yukiji groaned slightly annoyed. She loved her brother and his cooking skills. But disappearing into a kitchen right away when he was supposed to be here to help wasn't exactly nice.

"We'll manage without him." Nova smiled and ran back up the stairs when Yukiji had finally climbed them and put the box down. The whole thing was pretty exhausting. Although, training with her father was even worse.

Her eyes turned to the wooden steps that swayed back and forth with the whole ship through the water. Yukiji knew that she had to keep practicing so that she wouldn't have to kiss the floor.

How would Sanji fare in the kitchen? It was supposed to be even more difficult there. Spilling food was not good at all. Especially when the whole crew had to be fed.

"Hey, girl! Stop standing around and get to work!" a member called down to her. "I'm coming!" Yukiji called right back. Life on this ship really wasn't going to be easy.
