"General Wang, the avatar has sent you a message." The servant bowed to him and took a scroll out of a messenger hawk's silver saddle.

"Thank you, you may leave." Wang said. The servent bowed to him and left.

Wang read the note.

Dear Wang lung, I write this to you to ask for more experienced soldiers for the new avatar Chen society. The soldiers we have can barely take off an elbow leech. I heard you have an earthbending daughter. I will be gathering young benders and nonbenders from the new avatar Chen society and I will leave you in charge of them. I trust you to help rebuild our powerful nation. -Avatar Chen

"What? How can he just tell me to do that? That's so much responsibility. Well I do have young daughters might as well make the most of them." He whispered to himself.

Wang walked outside to see his daughters Jade (9) and Nala (7) playing in the South Pole snow where Wang had stationed his part of the army.

He looked at Nalas ugly light brown hair. It reminded him of her ratchet mother.

"Girls."
Nala and Jade looked at him, the smiles on their face fading. "Yes father?" Jade said. "Jade, It's time for you to learn earthbending. Come with me." Wang said

Jade looked back at Nala before slowly walking towards her father. "What about me?" Nala asked. "You will stay here and lounge around
like the lazy nonbender you are."
