Chapter 10 - Airbending

"Wake up it's time to resume your training."

Omni awoke to Ying standing over her bed.

"Ah! How long have you been here?!" Omni asked, concerned.

"Come with me." Ying said.

"But don't I have to get ready first?" Omni looked in a mirror that was hung on the wall.

"Oh yes! Please come back to the spinning platform when you're ready." Ying smiled and walked out.

Omni groaned and put her hair up and her glasses on before going back to the platform from yesterday.

"Let's see if you can do it this time." Ying said.

Omni took a deep breath before going into the spinning boards.

She got past a few boards but then got too comfortable and got hit repeatedly with the boards.

Omni got frustrated.
"Stupid boards!"

She ran back into the boards getting hit again.

Naomi flinched.

Omni came out.

"I'm gonna go take a break." Omnis voice cracked.

She ran to her room and buried her face in her pillow.

She felt tears go into her pillow.

She cry's when she gets frustrated.

"Why are you crying?" Naomi asked.

"I'm not crying!" She blew air at Naomi.

"Okay then I'll just leave you alone." She closed the door.

Don't be weak Omni. You can't show weakness.

She got back up and ran to the boards.

It was around dusk. No one was there.

She inhaled deeply and walked into the boards.

Be the leaf.

She moved swiftly dodging each and every board.

She hopped out on the other side.

"Nice airbending!"

She turned to see Leyu resting in a tree.

"You saw?" Omni asked.

"Yeah." Leyu said.

"I don't know how I did it I just.. did." Omni Said.

"Let's go show your new airbending skills to the resistance!" Leyu suggested.

"But they're so mysterious and professional! They won't care!" Omni said.

"Pfft.. have you even met Banai? Trust me. We don't judge." Leyu grabbed her hand.

They went to the camp.

"Let's go get them." Leyu said.

She threw Omni a fire nation cloak.

"We're not in the fire nation." Omni said.

"You're right. But there's a village where everyone lives." Leyu buttoned her cloak.

"Okay." Omni buttoned her cloak too.

They went to the town. It was pretty lively considering it's not that big.

They went to the door of a small instrument shop.

Leyu knocked on the door.

A large and stubby lady opened the door.
