Chapter 7 - Journey

"Ugh this is taking so long. Are we at the fire nation yet?" Omni groaned.

"We will get there soon don't worry Omni." Naomi was sitting in the back leaning against their bags.

"You seem to be in a surprisingly good mood today." Omni glared back at her.

Naomi thought about what happened just days before.

"Yeah I guess.." Naomi sighed.

"So guys uhm... I kinda got off track so now we are almost to the Westrrn Air temple, not the fire nation." Ganal said.

"WHAT." Omni fumed.

"Sorry." Ganal flinched.

"I'm not gonna hit you I'm just mad. BUT HOW DO YOU GET THAT LOST?" Omni yelled.

"Well if maybe you helped me we wouldn't be in this situation!" Ganal looked back at Omni.

They both got ready to hit eachother with air bending.

"Woah let's calm down. Naomi slid between them.

"Don't tell to calm down tell this IDIOT!" Omni  turned red.

"Oh I'm sorry not like you cared until I told you. You can't just make me do all the work in the group." Ganal said calmly.

Omni and Ganal argued a little longer.

"It's actually not that bad. We could go to the Western air temple and then the fire nation. They are pretty close." Naomi suggested.

"Whatever." Omni rolled her eyes.

Omni sat back down and looked at her blistering wrist.

She flinched and looked away.

"It's getting late. Let's stop for the night." Ganal began to land Yigu.

Naomi looked at the setting sun.
"Good idea."

Omni didn't say anything as she was still upset at Ganal.

Ganal landed Yigu.

Ganal slid off, Naomi following him.

"Are you gonna help pack up Omni."
Naomi called.

Omni didn't ignored her.

"Okay.." Naomi walked away.

Omni didn't bother taking off her glasses or letting down her hair. She just layed down with Fifi laying by her head.

She soon fell asleep.

Through her deep sleep Omni felt a blanket get layed over her.

She slightly opened her eyes to see Ganal climbing off of Yigu.

She smiled and drifted off to sleep.

"Is she dead?" Naomi pointed to Omni still sleeping.

"Of course not! We're all just tired I'm sure of it." Ganal said from the front of Yigu while he was flying him.

"Huh.." Omni rubbed her eyes.

"Your awake!" Naomi said.

"Yup." Omni yawned.

She looked off the side of yigus saddle and saw miles and miles of forest.

"I'm hungry." She dug through the sack of food and pulled out an apple.

"We're almost there. Just a few more hours."
Ganal looked at his map.

Omni fixed her buns and Gave her burn a new bandage.

"There it is!" Ganal pointed to a large canyon covered in fog.
