She pushes thoughts along a keen sword's edge,

A double-cut creates a jugular, drips inscribe.

Now freely, words run down the neck and wedge

Upon her chest, a poet's blood describe.

The quill; precision thoughts, with fleshly couplets

In sordid worlds of dreams, and bones will cross

Synaptic clefts — created bloodlets from poets.

Thus, who desires to live a life of loss?

Desire does cleanse the harbor misanthrope;

Alas, all death won't bathe wicked captors.

The tale is silver lined and marred with hope;

One person, selfless, will swim in clean waters.

        She dips herself to cleanse the greed we feel.

        Assignment: Poetry beyond its zeal.
