He walked the halls of dreadful night, to see

One glimpse of her, her negligee endows

His member, none knows his secret, his prow;

He goes where only dead men troll the sea.

Desire is in the deepest darkest sleep,

Wherefore, dreams of trollop's pleasures disallow,

Rest his bones upon a pearl's keep, disavow

A dead man's reach, they fall upon this heap.

Yet, no one's found this forgotten treasure quest,

Her pleasures wealth, isn't his to know or shared,

His old bones are chained near her pleasures chest,

Their bones embrace, and his lady's love declared,

A pirate's ship was sunk near Bucharest,

Dim within the blackest sea, love has erred.

(A.N. This is an Italian style sonnet; 14 line with abba, cbbc, dedede, rhyme scheme.)
