You Fold Away in Time, a Blank Verse Sonnet
©2018, Olan L. Smith
Such space, such distance, hope is left, such time
Awareness grasps, but we endure the pulse
Of such an absence. Thus, your love is known.
And who appreciates your choice is us!
You foldaway within the time of dawn,
And you will transport people saved for stars.
We need to trace your form, and heed the voice
Explain the mysteries that you have made.
Alas, in darkest death we see your yield?
At last capitulate this world we've penned,
In stories we have written, raise the dead!
Did you reserve this world, our savior lives?
The Master's love is stayed, the Godly toil,
An essence wrote, completeness ever told.
