Sonnet XX: Awakes my Soul

Come heat of day or shade, the ruler's souls is light,

A tiny spot connects me Lord within,

And it was dire, what came within the night

Was death, it slew me with the slaughter's din.

A ruckus stemmed, and I was tossed about,

Was moved and stirred, and thrown beneath the floor

To land upon my pate, the fires went out,

Yet, hope is always there upon the shore.

Awakes my soul, and stir the fires around,

Lord feed my light restored my hope to live,

This date my feet no longer tight or bound

Do walk with pride, in such this life I thrive,

I see, I'm strong in hope and surety

This world is strange, a non-reality.
