By the Painted Table, Rhaenys is led in by Ser Lorent and Ser Lorent said "The Princess Rhaenys Targaryen."

Rhaenrya said "Thank you, Ser Lorent. Princess Rhaenys... might we hope for news of Lord Corlys's recovery?".

Rhaenys said "Viserys is dead."

Daemon and Rhaenrya looked at her in shock and Rhaenys said "I grieve this loss with you, Rhaenyra. My cousin, your father... possessed a kind heart. There is more. Aegon has been crowned as his successor."

Rhaenrya whimpered, and her voice slightly broke "They crowned him?" and Daemon said "How did Viserys die?".

Rhaenys said "I could not say."

Viserys said "How long ago?" and Rhaenys said "A day past, perhaps two. I was made a prisoner in my quarters while the Queen made her preparations."

Daemon said "Viserys has been slain."

Rhaenrya said "Alicent demanded you declare for Aegon."

Rhaenys said "She did. I refused her."

Daemon said "And yet you are alive" and Rhaenys said "The High Septon crowned Aegon in the Dragon pit. I witnessed it myself just before I fled on Meleys."

Rhaenrya said "They crowned him before the masses" and Rhaenys said "So that the masses would see him as their rightful king."

Daemon said "That whore of a Queen murdered my brother and stole his throne. And you could have burned them all for it."

Rhaenys said "A war is like to be fought over this treachery, to be sure. But that war is not mine to begin. I only rushed this warning to you out of loyalty to my husband and to my house. The Greens are coming for you, Rhaenyra. And for your children. You should leave Dragons tone at once."

Rhaenrya whimpered and gasped and touched her stomach and she felt that something was wrong and she touched under her gown to see blood.

Rhaenrya said"The babe is coming."

Rhaenrya was taken to her chambers.

Measter Geraldys said "Her term is far from complete. This should not be happening."

Rhaenrya said "It is fucking happening."

Older Midwife said "Keep your head about you, Princess. Come."

Elinda said " We've done this five times before. Keep your spirit, and the sixth will be no different."

Rhaenrya said "Get off, get off, get off, get off! Ow, ow, ow. "

She screamed.

In the Main Hall , Daemon was speaking to the guards and said "I want patrols along the island's perimeter, looking for any small ships that might set ashore. If the Greens attack now, it will be by stealth... ...not directly. We don't have enough men to surround the island, but we can make ourselves appear stronger than they are.Conscript the Dragon keepers. They're capable fighters. Waste no time."

One of the Captains said "It will be done, my Prince."

In Rhaenrya's Chambers

Rhaenrya was groaning in pain as Jace and Luke walked in and Jace said "Mother?" and Maester Geradys said "Princess."

Rhaenrya said "Your grand sire, King Viserys, has passed."

Luke said "V-Viserys?" and Rhaenrya said "The Greens have repudiated the succession and claimed the Iron Throne. Aegon has been crowned king. Your cousins are still prisoners there, and who knows what they have to Baelon?".
