i was currently at nicks party for his own brand launch party, if was at a pretty nice venue, packed with people of course.

"are you drunk?" matt asked. "not drunk, but a little buzzed," i leaned against the wall behind me.
he nodded his head before licking his teeth. "what's
up?" i wondered. "nothing, i just want to go home
i guess," he shrugged his shoulders. i looked down
at the liquid in my cup. "can you give a ride then?"
"yeah, sure." he gave me a small smile. "lemme just
say bye to nick."

"thank you nicky," i wrapped my arms around him.
"of course!" he exclaimed. "i have to pack when i get home but i wish i could stay longer." i pouted. "it's okay!" "is matt dropping you off?" he asked. i nodded my head. "alright, i'll see you soon."

the car was silent. my head was against the window,
looking at the lights passing by. matt had been in a
really fucking bad mood for the past few days.
i completely understand if it's over the breakup
because i hate myself everytime i remind myself
that we're not together anymore, but chris told
him it's not over us which is really hard to believe,
but he's not even sad he's angry like it's his fault that i'm moving to new york, so i'm not too sure what
that's about and i'm way too scared to ask him.

"your dad told the new coach to put me on the bench for this season," he cleared his throat. i slowly turned
my head and looked at him. "what?" "your dad, he's
punishing me because of us," he kept his eyes on
the road. "i'm so sorry matt, i wish i could tell him
to stop but there's no point," i sighed. "you could if you wanted to," "have we met the same man or?"
we stopped at a red light. he turned and finally
looked at me. "you could atleast say something," "your saying this like it's my fault we dated, i can't change what my father does matt, as much i want to he's the coach not me," i shifted in my seat. he stayed silent and pressed his foot on the gas. "drop me off at josh's," i looked out at the road infront of us.
"why?" he asked. "summer is there same with
some of the hockey team, i wanna see her," i bit the inside of my cheek. "is there another hockey player you have your eyes on?" matt scoffed. i took a deep breath before speaking. "pull over," "what?" "matt pull over!"

matt quickly pulled over.

"what's your problem!" i slapped my knee. "nothings my problem im just fine," he tapped his fingers against the steering wheel. i rolled my eyes. "also
answering your question there's no one on the hockey team that i have my eyes on, i actually have my eyes on no one okay?" "don't try to punish me because of my dads actions matt, you know i would do anything for your hockey career to not be
effected by me," i took a deep breath. "okay tate, i believe you," he looked at me. "don't look at me like that matthew," i warned. "like what?" he titled his head. "like you want to kiss me," "well i do," a smirk creeped up onto his face. "drive please or i'll cry." i broke the eye contact between us. "yes ma'am."

me and matt were parked outside josh's house.
both of us just sitting in the dark car, not speaking
to eachother.

"remember when we met?" matt asked breaking the silence. "of course i do," i whispered. "i remember
when the guys were talking about how hot you were,
for some reason i got really jealous even though
you weren't mine yet," he looked over at me. his
cheeks bones looked so good under the dim lighting.
"i didn't go into that practice session to end up falling
in love with one of the players," i wiggled my finger
at him. a husky laugh left his mouth. "i wish you didn't have to go to new york tate," "me either," i looked down at my lap. "will you come visit?" he asked. "of course i will," "the minute my exams are over, i'll be getting on a plane to come see you," a put a hand through my hair. "i'll come pick you up then," "oh will you now?" i smiled. "i will and before i drop you off where ever your gonna stay we'll go the beach," "well depends what time you land but still!" his hands fell into his lap. "i'd love that, im gonna go now i told summer i was outside 10 minutes okay?" my eyes met his. he nodded his head. "get out to hug me pleaseee." i smiled. "of course." matt laughed.

i wrapped my arms around matt. his hands landed
on my waist. my head leaning on his chest. "i'll text
you later," i pulled away. "sure," he gave me small
smile. "alright, now go back to nicks party." i ruffled his hair. he jokingly rolled his eyes. "tell summer i
said hi."

i opened the door josh's door to the heat, the smell of weed and strong cologne.

i walked my way through the house to find summer
in the kitchen. "hi!" she smiled and hugged me.
"hi sorry i was taking so long, i was talking to matt
for awhile," i cleared my throat. "it's all good, you
want something to drink?" she asked. "i'll just have
some coke, i'm not really in the mood to drink, i had
2 drinks at nicks little party," i clicked my tongue. "okay, how is matt?" she grabbed a red solo cup.
"yeah he's good, he said hi," i took the cup off her. "josh told me what your dad did," she took a sip of
her drink. i nodded my head. "yeah, he was pissed
at me for awhile but it's not my fault, i sadly can't control his actions," "yeah true babe, you wanna say
hi to the guys real quick?" "sure."

"yeah she said she was done drinking last night when she came back from nicks party and now she's
dying," summer stated to matt who surprisingly showed up at my door with food. "summer leave
me alone!"  "josh's brother kept offering me
shots!" i groaned into the couch. "you didn't have
to take them," chris chuckled. i sat up and glared at him. "okay fake mr sober!" i grabbed matt's drink and took a sip. "hey that's my drink!" matt covered hand over his mouth . i rolled my eyes. "i'm hungover and my stomach feels like it's getting torn apart so can everyone be nice to me thank you," i
layed back down. i woke up with my period this morning which made me actually cry. matt's eyes landed on mine. he looked so pretty it's not fair at all. "we're making a video with sam and colby soon!" chris told summer. "what!" i sat up. "yeah, why do you watch them?" chris asked. "no but colbyyyyyyyy," my eyes rolled into the back of my head. "he's mine!" summer yelled. "enough you only know who is he because of me girl," i stood up. "sorry im being such a bitch my head hurts, i'll beright back!"

i grabbed some advil from the kitchen and made my
way back into the living room.

"im just gonna do some more packing, you guys can obviously stay here but i'll be just in my room." i stated. "lemme help you!" matt offered. "sure."

"wow!" "your room is clean," matt joked. i rolled my
eyes. "i'm so stressed and tired and i wanna cry," i
flopped my body onto my bed. matt sat down beside me. "it's okay," he looked at me. "it's not matt, i don't wanna go," i put my face in my hands. matt's hand gently met my back. "hey, hey," "look at me," he spoke so softly. i looked up at him. "it's going to be okay, your only making yourself more stressed by overthinking it," he put a piece of my hair behind my ear. that made me want to cry even more. i quickly pecked his lips. "oh-i-um," he stuttered. he leaned back in and softly kissed me. a whimper came out of my mouth while his warm hand met my waist. i slowly layed down onto my back.

he continued to kiss me softly, he kissed me like it was the last time he ever would and it probably was.

the wetness between my thighs grew ever time his lips met mine.

"be quiet!" nick yell whispered. "sorry!" i giggled
and followed the boys.

chris threw his towel on the ground before running
and jumping into the pool splashing us all.
"chris!" i yelled. "sorry." he smiled. i rolled my
eyes and placed my towel on one of the lounge chairs
before sitting on the edge of the pool.

"oh it's heated!" i exclaimed. "yeah it's the only reason we come here," matt smiled at me. "and the only one i like!" chris yelled. "guys we need to be
quiet!!!!" nick cried. "buddy calm down. " matt laughed. "i know, but i don't want the neighbours
to hear us."

we moved to the hot tub. i caught matt looking at my chest way too many times.

the boys have a heated pool near they're town house, it was 2 am and chris was in the mood for a swim. i wanted to join him so i made matt drive to my house so i can could change into a bikini and now we're all here. i don't know how i ended hanging up with the boys. after me and matt kissed, did more than just kissing we agreed to actually stop this time because
we're only friends and we need to stick to that.

anyway im nearly finished packing for new york i leave in a few days, i keep counting it down even though i don't want to go at times.
