i watched taerae's back as he walked further away from me.

my mind was just blank after he yelled at my face.

oh god, maybe i went too far.

i was worried about him. i should've been considerate.

i sighed at myself and fished out my phone, dialing hanbin.

"hello?"

"hey, bro. pick me up."

"ah, you're done?"

"mhm. hurry, please."

"okay, where are you?"

"still at the theater."

"okay, be there in a min"

and the call ended.

i just stood outside the movie theater, waiting for hanbin.

my head hung low & as time slowly passed, raindrops started falling down.

ah shit, why did it have to rain?

i was about to run back in the theater when i heard a car honk.

i looked back and saw hanbin running towards me with an umbrella.

"you're wet! hurry!" he wrapped an arm around my shoulder and we both ran in his car.

hanbin chuckled & threw a towel at me. "dry yourself."

i sighed and did so as he started the engine.

"did you have fun? where's the boy?" he asked.

i just muttered an 'i don't know'.

"huh?"

"nothing.."

"is something wrong?" he worriedly looked at me.

"..i think i did something wrong." i said.

"like what?"

"i made taerae mad." i rubbed my damped hair and looked out the crying outside world.

"i think he always is." he snickered, stepping on the gas pedal.

"yeah, but this time is different. i'm gonna apologize tomorrow." i bit my lower lip.

hanbin glanced at me but then focused back on the road. "do you like him?"

i almost choked on my own saliva. "no?"

"why do you sound like you're not so sure?" he asked again.

"just because." i sighed for the nth time.

"remember what mom told you recently?" he reminded.

to not have a crush on ANYONE because if i did, something bad is gonna happen.

i just hummed as a response and we both kept quiet at the rest of the car ride.
