{TAERAE}

after jiwoong hyung scolded us in real life and in the group chat, i went home.

well, it doesn't really feel like home though.

the lights in the house were already turned off so i guess they're asleep now.

i let out a quiet sigh and slowly opened the front door. it silently creaked open & i stepped in, closing the door behind me.

i climbed up the stairs as quiet as i can and walked towards my room.

"where have you been?" i suddenly heard kangjun's voice from behind.

shivers went down my spine as i slowly turned around to face him.

he looked pissed off, even though i did nothing. but i know my existence is the thing that pisses him off.

"i asked, where have you been?" he repeated.

"i-i hung out at my friend's house-"

"and who told you that you can?!" he angrily cuts me off and grabbed my collar.

"i-i'm sorry.." i had nothing else to say since i can't fight him.

he scoffed, "sorry?" he then pushed me down on the floor.

i tried standing up, enduring the pain but he kicked my fragile body, making me fall back again.

he looked down at my weak figure and laughed, "pathetic."

i tried standing up again and he didn't kick me this time but instead, he tightly grabbed my arm and threw me in my room.

"i didn't have a good day today so this should make it better." he slammed the door shut and i heard him lock it.

i am in the verge of crying but i obviously don't wanna look weak. even though, i am.

whenever i try to stand up, i always end up falling back down.

will someone ever catch me and help me stand back up?

{SOOYEON}

i ran around the house at five in the morning, screaming.

"SOOYEON SHUT UP" hanbin threw a pillow at my face.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU" he asked with half-opened eyes since he just woke up.

"nothing. i was bored."

"what tHE-" i pushed him back in his room, "let's get ready for school, dude."

i then ran in my room & got ready for school myself.

after doing that, i exited my room & saw hanbin eating pancakes by the kitchen counter.

"mom didn't come home last night." he informed.

i just nodded, that's normal.

i then grabbed a piece of bread and sat in front of him. "i'm so excited to see your dad!" i said.

he looked surprised at first but then flashed a smile, a fake one as i can notice.

i didn't question it because if he had something bothering him, he just tells it to me, since i am his trusty sister.

we tell each other our secrets but i didn't tell my latest one, and i'm not planning to tell anyone, of course.

my secret will be against mom's so-called rules.
