Levi sighed rubbing Destiny's back " you look like shit Tiny" he mumbled as Destiny looks at him for the first time since he found her in the bathroom.

" What...." she said in a slurred voice. " I look... fine " Destiny mumbled looking around the room.

"where's the club?" Destiny mutters and Levi chuckled.

"I'm like ninety percent sure Layla drive you back to the hotel room Destiny." He laughs thinking about the irony of the situation. Destiny never really got drunk that he knew of. She had said once it hinders her ability to focus on work especially because of hangovers she'd get. So, she just was the designated driver  whenever she went out. No matter the situation. So, seeing her drunk like this - it was to be frank jarring to say the very least.

"Mm.." Destiny hummed " ok." Levi just nodded and looked at her rubbing her back. "Here can we move you to the bed? Can you get there yourself or do you need me to help you?" Levi spoke.

Destiny huffed and tried to walk by herself, but she kept stumbling slowly  across the bathroom floor. Levi watched before standing up and putting her left arm around his shoulder guiding her to the main sleeping area laying her against the pillows on the bed.

"Destiny, are you sober enough to get yourself dressed." He knew the answer was no but still asked anyway just in case by some miracle she was.

Destiny In response simply just groaned using one of the pillows as a shade cover to hide her drunken face " you can't... see me!" She stated in an infectious  laughter. Levi just shook his head in response.

"Ok that would be a no." He mumbled to himself still smiling at his ex-girlfriend's drunken shenanigans.

Levi left the bed briefly to go get more comfy clothes for the girl, what he picked was a pair of sweatpants and a t shirt and helped the girl change so she didn't have to sleep in discomfort.

"All right lean forward Des." he sighed gently pushing the girl forward  to adjust the pillows so she would be comfortable making a little den surrounding her out of said pillows.

He looked at the girl who had settled in nicely to her new pillow den Destiny's  hair falling ever so slightly over her face, she looked so at peace, he noticed, Levi couldn't help but think ... maybe she had always been that way and he never truly had realized it. Levi sighed getting up from the bed going to see if one of his fellow groomsmen would let him stay with them, until he heard a small voice call out for him.

"Stay..." Destiny said her voice muffled by the pillows surrounding her. Levi hummed in response looking at the girl. " What Destiny ..." he asked.

You heard me... stay ..." Destiny mutters in a slightly irritated tone peeking out from the blanket covering her body.

Levi sighed and looked around the room briefly before looking at Destiny who gave him puppy dog eyes begging him to come back to the bed. He knew it was a bad idea he didn't want to send her mixed signals that he did still care, even though he did still care for her - even just a little bit. Levi just did not know how Destiny felt or even if she felt anything at all still for him.

"Ok fine Des... but I'll only stay on this side of the bed." He stated before climbing into the bed in the room. Levi turned on his side looking out of the large glass doors going out to the balcony attached to the room they were staying in he let his thoughts drift to anything and everything, but he still couldn't sleep even though he did need the sleep. Levi's body just would not relax, probably because he was asleep next to his ex-girlfriend- in hindsight he didn't think about how stressful the bed situation would be when he first figured out that they were going to share a room when Destiny walked in.

But finally, after a few hours Levi finally got to descend into a blissful type of sleep, the kind that you'd never want to be warm from. He didn't realize how much time had truly passed from when he finally slept to when he was awakened by the rustling of bedsheets and feet moving to the hotel room bathroom. Levi rose slowly his eyes adjusting to the darkness of the space, looking over at the clock on the far end of the room he saw the clock ticking away- 7:00 am, it read. After he had finished reading the clock is when he finally realized Destiny was not in bed just like he had suspected she was. He had looked around for a while before spotting the Raven-haired girl.

"Destiny what are you doing up? You were so drunk last night you should be resting." Levi stressed his voice still scratchy from just waking up.

Destiny groaned into her arm and looked into the bathroom mirror before responding. "Life goes on. Just as long as I get some pain killers and tea, I should be ok. in a little while anyway."

Levi looked dumbfounded, perplexed even. How this girl could be so nonchalant about being severely hungover was beyond him. But then again, this was Destiny Hawthorne he was talking to, the girl was a powerhouse and a workhorse. He had remembered in high school she rarely ever took sick days, even if she needed them, she just never stopped going until she reached her goal. Levi had to give it to her, Destiny's work ethic was admirable. That's one of the reasons he fell for her in the first place.

"You should rest." Levi looked at her through the cracked bathroom door.

Destiny sighed looking back at him through the door. " No I can't. I have a bridal party event to go to and Layla demands I be in attendance." Destiny sighed brushing her teeth.

Levi sighs getting up and stretching " look. I can't stop you but you're going to be grumpy if you go out still hungover so please sit your ass down and rest for a little while longer just so the hangover is fading away." He spoke sternly as Destiny looked dumbfounded and slightly offended.

"Excuse but what right do you have to tell me what to do." Destiny scoffed her head was pounding but she did not want to listen to a word Levi says.

" Destiny I'm your ex boyfriend ok. I know you probably better than you know yourself sometimes so will you please just stop being so stubborn and listen." He sighs irritated by her stubbornness.

Destiny was stunned. Levi had never been that stern with her. Ever. He was always so kind, so .. gentle .. so .... Understanding the boy was an Angel . No doubt about it , but seeing him like this made her want to crawl into a pit and die of  embarrassment. To be scolded like that- by her ex boyfriend no less was something she never expected but, she had to give it to him . He was right if she was going out with Layla , Beverly and the other girls she had to be at least pleasant at the bare minimum.

"Look if you don't want to take care of yourself that's fine but don't be grouchy and a bitch because you're hungover ." He stated getting up throwing on a hoodie and went out the door.

"Where are you going?" Destiny asked looking at the boy, Levi just stared at her and said one word

" Out" then silence became more pungent in the room. Destiny usually didn't mind big silences yet this one was full of tension and hostility.. it made her very uncomfortable. Maybe Levi was right , she did need to rest yet her stubbornness wouldn't allow it, yet she still walked over to her phone dialing Layla's phone number and let it ring before someone picked up."

"Hello?" Layla finally picked up. " Destiny what're you doing calling me this early we aren't supposed to meet for another four hours or so."

Destiny nodded even though Layla couldn't see it. "Actually Layla .. I'm gonna be arriving late I'm really hung over and I need the rest." She sighed holding her head due to said hangover.

Layla paused before responding . "Sure just text me when you are on your way ok?."

"Sounds good I'll let you know when I'm there" Destiny reaffirmed and hung up getting right back into bed resting after taking two pain killers to aid her continuing headache , a cup of green tea sitting at the bed side table next to her.

The girl knew she'd have to apologize to Levi if he got back before she left, but in all honesty.. she didn't know how to right now it had been so long since he even got mad at her so it seemed like a sorry was so foreign even though it shouldn't be.

Why is this ex situation so weird ." Destiny thought going back to sleep.
