Destiny spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and working on responding to work emails to potential clients for when she came back to New York because after this wedding her schedule would be packed and busier than ever before. But then again, the thought of leaving Tua Island... leaving Levi was jarring for her to even think about. It wasn't because she had kept reminiscing on her relationship with Levi and their love story - ok that was part of it but in actuality it was mainly because of the potential they would have if she chose to stay, what they could be with this somewhat rekindled romance. She just got back to him and then just leaving like that after everything they had been through the last few days, it honestly broke her heart in two, it was just like all those years ago back in high school where she had to choose between her love for him or her dream career in the place, she dreamed of living ever since she was ten. She already had her career so should she stick with it and forget this ever happened in a passing memory or should she risk everything to be with the boy who was the love of her life? Her heart and where head were telling her two very different things it was terrifying to make her think of these things, but she knew she had to eventually because she had three days to decide and she would not leave him hanging not this time, she would make sure of it. Destiny just hoped she would make the right choice and in her heart of hearts she wanted to stay with him, but when it came too her love for him any logic was out the window, she was afraid to make any impulsive or irrational decisions.

Levi arrived minutes later and saw the girl in deep thought joining her on the bedsitting in a comfortable silence to provide them time to think of words to say- if they had anything to say at all.

"So...." Levi mutters awkwardly looking into the eyes of the girl he called his ex.

No, it didn't feel right to call her his ex, not after everything that has happened between them during this experience. But she wasn't his girlfriend anymore, at least not officially at least. But after the flirty banter and that kiss, they shared the night before he did not see why she wouldn't be his girlfriend again soon, that was the hope at least. For him, Destiny would be his number one, his endgame if you will. Deep down he knew that she viewed him as her number one as well even if she never explicitly said so, she was more about showing that she cares then actually saying, he could see it in her glances from across the room. That is how he knows it was almost a secret code between them that only they know.

"So..." Destiny said after a while. the once comfortable silence turned stale slowly declining into an awkward silence instead. Neither ex knew exactly what they wanted to say which seemed to be a common occurrence. There was so much tension you could almost cut it with a knife, until Destiny spoke up continuing her earlier thought.

"How was your little get together with the guys?" Destiny asked.

It was good. Pretty sure Mitchell got shit faced from what I heard from the guys." Levi laughs softly looking at the girl next to him.

"You didn't stay?"

No, honestly the only reason I stayed for as long as I did was for the free drinks, obviously I liked hanging out with the guys, but it got a little too crazy for my liking if you get what I mean." Destiny nods in response letting a chuckle escape her.

Then both exes slipping into a ginormous fit of laughter, during their laughing fit Destiny's hand slid over top Levi's and for a moment everything fell into place.

"That was nice we have not laughed like that in a very long time. Have we?" Destiny said.

Levi nods gripping her hand slightly tighter than before not wanting to let go in case this was a dream not giving her the chance to slip away like she had so many times before this moment. He was not going to give up on her, not yet. Even though the day Destiny leaves is coming in closer day by day and the realization that she would be gone set in, and it set in hard. These moments He and destiny shared were so precious too him, it felt the same yet so different at the same time it seemed as though they were two separate people who had grown into themselves. but the moments were so familiar and so vivid in these moments he remembers their past the Deja vu hits him that it makes it hard to accept that even though they were there in the present that they could never be as they were.

"Levi?" Destiny muttered looking at him.

"Hmm?" Levi muses turning his gaze back to her.

"I'm going back to New York after the wedding you know that right?"

"Yeah, I know."

Levi knew that this was happening she didn't need to tell him that it was, but he didn't care he would ride this wave out as long as he could and if Destiny decided to never speak to him again, he'd listen with no complaints, he was at her mercy anything she would want he'd do, but he will be dammed if he would miss a moment too spend with her if given the chance, if he got too see her smile at him that was the greatest thing to experience.

"I don't mind though." Levi said abruptly startling Destiny a bit."

"What do you mean?" Destiny settled asking him.

"I mean. I don't care if you're leaving or if you decide never to see me again. You will be my best memory in this life. I will enjoy whatever time I have with you left and if you decide to stay then... that's great for me, either way I see no downside."

"No downside huh?"

"Nope."

"Your oddly very optimistic Levi are you ever not peppy all the time?" Destiny asked leaning back her eyes slightly hooded as she looked at him.

"Sometimes but not often." Levi smiles softly plopping his head onto her lap.

"What are you doing."

Destiny laughs looking down at the red headed boy and shakes her head softly as her gaze softens towards him. Levi just happily staring at her chuckled.

"Looking at you."

"We were having a moment you know?" Destiny laughs softly a pink tint making its way onto her cheeks.

"We were? I thought this was a part of the moment." Levi laughs playfully poking her nose with his pointer finger.

"Don't start being a smartass just because your cute and adorable doesn't give you a free pass Levi." Destiny said.

"Aww Tiny give me a pass just this once...please?"

"No."

Destiny laughs and wrapped her arms around the boy giving him a gentle hug pulling him closer to her and running her fingers through his silky red hair noticing Levi instantly relax under her touch. It seems he could fall asleep at any moment.

"You look like you're going to fall asleep Levi." She mutters continuing running her finger through his hair.

"Nope I'm ok." Levi said but halfway through he looked as though a yawn was about to escape him, but he silenced it as much as possible.

Within minutes Levi fell asleep in her arms Destiny couldn't control her rapid heartbeat due to the closeness it made her feel a different kind of comfort it was one where no words needed to be said, the type of comfort that was like a cozy sweater on a cold fall day. It was nostalgic for her, but that's beside the point. The point was he made her feel safe the little moments like these made her heart swell with a joy that couldn't quite be explained. Destiny looked down again at Levi's peaceful expression tiredness sweeping over her own features, she supposed just lazing around finally got to her. But she tried to avoid it as long as possible just in case Levi woke up from his slumber - also so she could admire him just a little bit longer, Destiny noticed even when he wasn't doing anything he still was like a sun ray shining brightly upon her giving her a chance to take it in- and she without even realized would bask in the light he provided,  she almost sounded like a broken record saying or rather thinking it but it was true that she couldn't help but keep thinking about it. She hated having too only think of it because for her expressing it was so damn hard, that was why she was so appreciative of moments like this because her actions spoke volumes compared to her words.

Finally letting her tiredness win she sighs yawning leaning down to Levi's forehead leaving a soft kiss onto it. "I love you, Levi." after that she leaned back rubbing his back letting herself rest.
