Engfa's POV

We were enjoying all the food that was made for us. There was some fried pork and I got to try it out it was really good. For some reason, there was a small portion of nuggets as well and I didn't understand why until I saw Charlotte take them all for herself. She mischievously smiled at Pang while she served them I am assuming that Pang made them just for her. It must be her favorite. I must have kept looking at her too long because Charlotte noticed me staring at her.

"Do you want some?" she asked offering me her nuggets all politely like a little kid

I smiled at her "No thank you, you clearly will enjoy them more than me, I guess I was just surprised to see nuggets here." I said

"Yeah, they are my favorite and everyone knows it that is why they didn't take it. P'Pang made them for me," she said smiling like a little kid

I noded at her statement, she is a very sweet kid, she acts like a little kid, she looks so innocent, and I am starting to get the feeling that I need to protect her and somehow I know that that is how her friends feel about her.

"You clearly seem to like friend pork since it is the only thing that you served," Charlotte said looking at my plate

"Yep Engfa can survive just eating fried pork for the rest of her life, it is her favorite," said Nudee with a smile

I didn't even know that she was listening.

"Yeah I like it, it's my favorite and this one tastes really good," I said with a smile

While everybody else was talking and getting to know each other I got lost in Charlotte and her mannerisms, how she laughed, at what she laughed, what she liked to eat and most of all at what she said. For being so young she was well prepared. I know she is just a year younger than me but still, she has clearly been involved in her company for a long time. I was brought out of my trance when I heard my sister call out my name.

"I would have to argue that Engfa might win," said Plaifa

"Yeah our mom almost kicked her out of our house last weekend for it," said Nudee while laughing

Everybody turned to me to see what I responded. Charlotte had a curious look on her face that I couldn't decipher.

"What are you two talking about?" I asked a little lost as I wasn't paying attention to the topic of conversation

"About you being a workaholic?" said Plaifa

"You are one to talk sis, you are always at the hospital, the only reason you are here is that you need to be here if not you would be at the hospital," I said looking at Plaifa

"Yeah, but I am a doctor I don't always have a schedule like you, emergencies happen, plus I always respect mom's rules and time with her. Unlike you," Plaifa responded

"I respect mom's rules, this weekend was the only exception and you know it. After that, I have a pretty well-balanced work-life relationship." I said as I started to eat again

"See and that is why Charlotte would win," said Heidi as she looked at the rest of the table

My head automatically snapped to my left where Charlotte was drinking her water and looking at Heidi like a little kid who just got told on. It was a little funny.

"Really and why is it that Charlotte would win?" asked Tina

"She sometimes forgets to balance her personal and professional life. In the sense that the professional life takes over most of the aspects of her life. If it weren't for Aoom and Meena her social life would have died a long time ago," said Marima
