Helping out the Poor

As you walked through the village you thought about how to help the people. 'There's no point in setting up a clinic since we'll be gone in a few days...' "Why are you so desperate to help these people? It's like you said we'll have to leave in barely a week, and it's not like your medical skills are enough to help them." The figure said as it walked next to you with a board look on its face. You rolled your eyes at its comment. 'It doesn't matter if we can only help them a little. It's the fact that we can help that matters. Besides you act as if you're not going to help me?' The figure glared at your words remembering how you had forced it to help you with your medical training.

Flashback

You rolled in your bed anxiously. "Will you just go to bed already! All your jumbled thoughts are making me start to stress." "I can't help it! Tomorrow is the day I learn medical ninjutsu! I can't sleep in so excited!" The figure floated at the side of your bed as it watched you squirm in your bed. It placed two fingers to your forehead and a feeling of drowsiness took hold and your eyes slowly closed. "Sleep. It'd do you no good to be tired during your first lesson."

You stared at the women in front of you. Her brown hair was tied into a high bun and she had bags under her brown eyes. You couldn't help but think she looked familiar. "Haruno Sakura, correct?" "Y-Yes! I'm sorry but I didn't get your name..." The women's eyes softened as she looked at you. "My name is Nohara Haru." Your eyes widened as you realized why she looked so familiar. 'So she's rin's relative...' You shook your head to clear your thoughts before giving a deep bow. "Thank for taking time out of your day to train me Nohara-San." Nohara simply smiled and gestured for you to stop bowing. "There's no need to act like that! Anyone who has the determination and skill to become a medical Ninja will be given a chance no matter what! Now then!" She clasped her hands together and walked over to a desk and grabbed a packet. She motioned for you to sit down in the chair that was in front of her desk.

You quickly followed her instructions and she gave you the packet along with a pencil. She sat down. "Now then! This is just a simple test to get a grasp on your current medical knowledge. It will be a time test so you only have 1 hour to complete it." You looked through the packet. The pages had questions on both sides of the paper. "What if I don't complete it?" "That's fine. Like I said this is just to see how knowledgeable you are in the medical field." "I see... I'm ready." "Alright." Nohara then started the timer and you got to work.

You checked the time. You had around 25 minutes left.

Beep! Beep! The timer went off at the same time you had finished answering the last question. You couldn't help but sigh in relief knowing you had at least finished the test. Nohara chuckled at your reaction. She took the test from you and began looking at your answers. "Umm. Sensei I don't mean to disturb you but what am I to do while you grade my test?" "You can read some of those books on the book shelf over there." She gestured to the bookshelf that was completely filled with books. You nodded and walked over to the shelf.

You were almost finished with your book by the time Nohara-San had finished grading the test. "Holy shit..." You looked up from your book. "I-Is something wrong?" "Wrong?!" Her scream made you flinch and you looked down in shame. "I'll tell you what's wrong almost nothing!" You looked up, shock written all over your face. "I'm mean holy shit! You've gotten the most questions correct I've ever seen by a mile! When the Hokage said you were smart I didn't think he meant this smart! We have to get you started right away!" "The Hokage called me smart?!" However your question was ignored as your new Sensei began scrambling around the room looking for something. "Ugh! I don't have any of the right materials! Go home Sakura and meet me here at the same time tomorrow. I have to go and tell the Hokage about this." You couldn't even udder a sound before she ran out the room quicker than you're ever seen anyone run before.
