Young master Cale has a lover?!

CH 11

"On, sweetie"

"yes"

"did you get the recording device out of the music room with your little brothers?"

"I... guess"

The grey haired girl answered a bit unsure.

"great!"

Before Adrian could say something a blue fluff ball launched itself in his arms taking him by surprise.

"Is that your assistant?"

Cale appeared out of nowhere and startled the poor boy again who almost dropped his fluffy assistant.

"yes, it is one of my assistants"

"one? oh, right you have three of them"

Before Ian could say anything he got dragged away by fluffy in the music room.

And Cale got transported in the surveillance room. He  got a decent idea of what was going to happen but guilt was no where to be seen.

'...it's karma I guess'

"what are we even doing here?"

"work is calling"

Replied raven with his adorable voice making his master roll his eyes.

"I'm. on. a. vacation. 

Which part of this sentence they don't understand"

"...All of it?"

"who is it? If it's the prince then reject it. There's no need to even consider listening to him, it will only bring misfortune, I'm speaking from experience of course"

Cale:' I can relate to that one'

"it's not the imperial family but the church"

"don't care"

"They already made 112.234 calls, at least answer one of them, please"

"which god?"

"goddess of love"

The red head chocked on air while the others who were equally being entertained  just shrugged. With how their young master is, it would be no surprise if his lover was a trouble magnet too. 

"no"

"please" 

"why?"

"she's ominous, the last time it was something  related to her I fainted for a month and was bedridden for three more. so it's a no"

"human, he's like you!"

"youngest is right, nya!"

"both of you are so weak, nya!"

"tsk...unlucky bastards"

'why am I being attacked?'

"It's not like they're going to stop, talk to them just once, and if you don't like their offer or something reject them."

"...fine"

Raven happily connected the call to the ominous church.

"*cough* Greeting young master I hope I didn't disturb your rest"

The priest started awkwardly and Adrian just smiled brightly.

"how can I help you?"

"A revelation just came from the apostle, apparently the goddess of love loves you-"

"that's awesome"

The priest looked surprised but relieved and proceeded.

"Does that mean you want to convert, young master?"

"oh no, I don't believe in god"

Hans got déjà vu from that sentence.

"do you know the consequences of not being a believer are right?"

"I actually don't. What are they?"

"well... you don't get to go to heaven"

"oh, I thought it was something serious. There's nothing to worry I don't believe in heaven either"

"okay, the point is then things aren't going to turn out great for you"

"oh why is that?"

Adrian asked faking his curiosity.

"well, goddess's not going to reward you for bad behaviour" 

"bad behaviour?"

'what is she? Cale?'

 "yes, you don't believe in her"

"yeah, but you said she loves me so why does it matter?"

"well, if you don't believe in gods then you obviously worship the devil" 

"I don't believe in the devil"

"that doesn't matter because the devil sure believes in you!" 

"wait, so I'm the devil's god?"

"pfft" 'Cale don't laugh, you can't laugh'

"no, you're the devil's victim"

"oh, so the goddess is going to punish the devil for what he's doing to me?"

"no, she's gonna punish you"

"she's going to punish me for falling victim to the devil deceiving me? But I thought the goddess loved me"

"well yes..."

"it doesn't really make any sense, does it?"

The flustered priest hung up the call in panic.

"master..."

"I refuse to be blamed"

"...."

"and I also reject the ridiculous offer"
