Wolf's Den

Tsume logging in to Wolf's Den 12am

Ruby logging in to Wolf's Den 12am

Balto logging in to Wolf's Den 12am

Ghost logging in to Wolf's Den 12am

Ruby: Wow, look who's on time today.

Balto: ....

Balto: I know you're not talking about me. I'm usually on time. I'm the prime example of professionalism.

Ruby: Emphasis on usually.

Balto: Screw you.

Tsume: Stop bickering. That's not why we are here.

Ruby: Has there been an update?

Tsume: The coroner hasn't finished the autopsy but she has given me a heads up.

Balto: By coroner you mean coroner/ doctor/ vet, right? Our jack of all trades.

Ruby: Shut up Balto.

Balto: Not actually talking. I'm typing.

Ruby: Just stop.

Balto: But I want to know what our town specialist had to say.

Ruby: If you were in front of me, I would punch you.

Balto: Don't threaten me with a good time. I'll come over right now.

Tsume: Both of you stop. This isn't a game. Someone died.

Ghost: You mean someone was killed.

Ruby: It was an accident.

Ghost: What did the doctor say?

Tsume: I'm sorry, Ghost, but the coroner said Ivy most likely died from an animal mauling.

Balto: Did she specify what type of animal?

Tsume: No. She's never dealt with something like this. She said she would have to bring in someone who specializes in animal attacks.

Balto: You should convince her not to.

Tsume: How do you expect me to do that?

Balto: Easy. Blame it on money. The town can't afford to bring a specialist like that from who knows where.

Balto: Plus, there's not many animals that could do something like that. We'll blame it on a bear or a mountain lion.

Tsume: The people are going to want to put it down.

Balto: And that's exactly what we'll do. Tomorrow we'll announce what killed Ivy and then we'll set up a hunting party to go kill the animal.

Ruby: You sound so heartless about this.

Balto: I'm not heartless. I'm just cold about the situation. I liked Ivy too. She didn't deserve this. But the truth is someone has to pay for her death.

Ghost: And it's going to be some innocent bear or mountain lion instead of me.

Ruby: This isn't your fault.

Ruby: It's Balto.

Balto: Stop putting this on me. I'm trying to fix the problem.

Ruby: That you caused.

Balto: You're just as much to blame as me.

Ghost: It's no one's fault but mine.

Ghost: I killed Ivy.

Ruby: No you didn't. The monster in you did it.

Balto: Don't call it that.

Balto: We're not monsters.

Ghost: It feels like we are.

Tsume: No, we are not monsters.

Tsume: We're animals and we do what we have to do to survive.

Tsume: We should all feel bad for what happened but we're all going to learn from this so it doesn't happen again.

Ruby: That's right.

Balto: Agreed.

Tsume: How about you, Ghost? Do you understand?

Ghost: I do.

Ghost: I'll do better.

Ghost: I promise.

Balto: Now we have to decide which animal we're going to put the blame on.

Balto: Bear or mountain lion

Balto: I vote mountain lion. I can't stand cats.

Ruby: Mountain lion.

Tsume: It should be a bear if we want to put this to rest as soon as possible. Mountain lions are too rare and I would rather not kill the little that we have.

Balto: That's fine with me. I honestly don't care either way.

Ruby: Me too.

Ruby: The sooner we're done with this, the better.

Tsume: Alright, I'll start preparing for what we have to do tomorrow. Anything else anyone wants to say before I go?

Balto: Not me. I'm going to do the same and prepare for what we're doing tomorrow.

Ruby: Nothing from me.

Ghost: Me either.

Tsume: Then this meeting is over. Goodnight everyone.

Balto logged out of the Wolf's Den.

Ruby: Goodnight.

Ruby logged out of the Wolf's Den.

Tsume: Ghost, wait a second.

Ghost: Yes Alpha

Tsume: Hang in there okay. You're not alone so if you need to talk, you have me and Ruby.

Tsume: It's probably best to avoid Balto though.

Ghost: lol

Ghost: Thank you and goodnight.

Tsume: Goodnight.

Ghost logged out of the Wolf's Den.
