Wolf's Den

Tsume logging in to Wolf's Den 12am

Balto logging in to Wolf's Den 12am

Ruby logging in to Wolf's Den 12am

Balto: Is Ghost going to log in today?

Ruby: Ghost hasn't really been in the mood for anything lately. Might be skipping today's meeting.

Balto: She should be here. This is about her.

Tsume: It's okay. Ruby can tell Ghost what was said.

Ruby: Yes, Alpha.

Tsume: Don't call me Alpha.

Balto: Let me just say I'm opposed to Ghost skipping meetings. She should know better and respect the rules.

Ruby: Screw off.

Tsume: Your opposition was noted. Let's continue.

Tsume: The hunt was successful.

Balto: Except for that hiccup with Detective Baez.

Tsume: She's not a detective.

Balto: Sure she isn't. I'm sure she consults with the police here and there.

Ruby: Did someone really take a shot at her?

Balto: I wouldn't doubt it. I can't stand her.

Ruby: Ha!

Ruby: Coming from the guy nobody can stand.

Balto: Ouch.

Balto: That really hurts.

Balto: Just so you know, I'm holding my heart because of the pain you've caused me.

Ruby: Oh please, you don't have a heart.

Balto: I do have a heart. It's just smaller than most.

Balto: Just something in common I have with the Grinch.

Ruby: Wow. Explains a lot.

Balto: Yeah, me and the Grinch are kindred spirits.

Ruby: I can see that.

Tsume: If you two are done, may I continue.

Ruby: Yes, Alpha.

Balto: Yes, Alpha.

Balto: lol

Ruby: Nice timing. I feel like I should say jinx.

Balto: Jinx

Ruby: Too late. Already said it. You owe me a soda.

Balto: A soda? How old are you?

Ruby: 12. Now give me my soda.

Tsume: Are you two done?

Balto: I think so.

Ruby: I'm sorry, Tsume. I'm done. What were you saying about the hunt?

Tsume: The hunt went successful and the people believe Ivy has been avenged.

Tsume: Her funeral will be in two days. I expect everyone to attend. Including Ghost.

Ruby: It might be hard to convince Ghost.

Tsume: You need to. We need to pay our respects. It's the least we can do for her.

Ruby: The least we could do?

Ruby: You really believe that?

Tsume: Yes.

Ruby: We killed her. We probably shouldn't be at her funeral if we were actually paying our respects.

Ruby: Let's just call it how it is. We're attending the funeral so we don't seem suspicious to the rest of the town.

Tsume: That's a messed up way to view it.

Balto: But the cold hard truth.

Tsume: Not entirely. I am paying my respects. Ivy was a very lovely lady.

Ruby: Still feels wrong.

Ruby: But I'll attend. And I'll get Ghost to do the same.

Tsume: Thank you.

Tsume: Balto?

Balto: Of course I'll attend. I don't care if Ruby thinks it's in poor taste.

Ruby: Of course you don't care.

Balto: You say that like it's a bad thing. It's an asset in our line of work.

Ruby: Sorry, but I have no intention of losing my humanity.

Balto: I haven't lost my humanity. I just keep it in check.

Tsume: If that's it. We'll meet up again the night before the funeral.

Ruby: Wait.

Ruby: Shouldn't we talk about what Domingo said.

Balto: What about it?

Ruby: He said it wasn't a bear that killed Ivy.

Balto: So. He was drunk. No one is going to take him seriously.

Ruby: But do you think he saw Ghost kill Ivy?

Balto: Doesn't matter if he did. No one is going to believe him.

Tsume: Balto is right. It really doesn't matter if Domingo saw something or not. No one is going to believe the town drunk.

Ruby: But aren't you curious as to what he saw?

Balto: Not the slightest.

Tsume: I really hope he didn't see anything. That man's mind is already fractured. Last thing he needs is to had witnessed Ivy's murder.

Ruby: So someone should check on him.

Balto: Not it.

Ruby: No one was expecting or wanted you to be the one to check on Domingo.

Balto: Cool. Good to see everyone on the same page.

Tsume: I'll check on him. Make sure he's fine.

Ruby: Thank you. That's why you're the alpha.

Tsume: Goodnight.

Ruby: Hugs.

Tsume logged off of the Wolf's Den.

Balto: See what you did. Scared off the alpha with your affection lol

Ruby: I wonder if that'll work on you.

Balto: Also immune to that, so don't bother trying.

Ruby: I'm not too sure about that.

Ruby: I bet that's what's wrong with you. Not enough affection when you were a child.

Balto: Ha

Balto: I was a great child when it came to my mom.

Ruby: Probably because you were the only child.

Balto: Your point.

Ruby: Goodnight.

Balto: Night.

Ruby logged off of the Wolf's Den.

Balto logged off of the Wolf's Den.
