He had tried the door. It was useless. The voice in the ceiling told him just as much.
The door was immune to his magic. And he couldn't teleport because the sorceress hadn't left him with enough magic. He couldn't suppress a grimace at that.
That wasn't the most horrible part, though.
The part that he hated the most. The part that wanted him to go to her and kill her.She knew.
He had felt her reach into his mind. Felt her see every pained moment of his life.
He had been forced to see it with her after all.He was just glad he didn't have a panic attack as the highlights of his time in the Void were played before him.
As if the nightmares weren't reminders enough.
She knew he was a monster. She had seen his true skin. His blood red eyes.
But she didn't show it. Not at all. At least not after she had vomited her guts out.She knew every secret he had ever had. Things he had kept secret from everyone, things that could destroy him.
She knew every time he had lost. She had witnessed it herself, saw him plot and scheme, and fail.
She knew how the Mad Titan found him, how he broke him apart, and put the pieces together over and over. She had seen the Other, and yet she had spoken as if it didn't matter.
He had hurt her. His magic lashed towards her instinctively as she tried to bind it.
If she hadn't been wearing black, the Avenger would know of the blood that bloomed on her back in the wake of his magic.
He was just waiting for his golden brother to come and take him back to Asgard.
Death would be a more merciful torment.
His wrists were still bound in Asgardian chains. Useless as they were now. His power had grown more than what the chains could contain.
As if that little sorceress needed the chains.
She was true to her word, though.
He got to keep a little magic.Unaffected by the Asgardian chains.
For a human, she was impressive.
But not very wise, it seemed since his magic sensed she was headed right towards him.
He had no intention of holding back this time, none at all.
So he did the only thing he felt he could do. He gathered all the magic he had left and got ready to strike.
He knew this with certainty the moment the doors were to open, she would cease to exist.

Thor had asked you if he wanted to change. You hadn't given him an answer yet.
How could you tell him his little brother, whom he loved more than anything, wanted to die?
So you had to do something, say something, to make him want to live.
The being a better person part could wait.
All you had to do was make him believe he could survive this. The rest he would do on his own.
"J, I can't open the door, right?" You asked Jarvis. You knew the answer but asked anyway.
"Yes, Miss Y/n, without permission from the Avengers, you can not enter the cell. Should I ask Mr. Stark for permission? " Jarvis answered in affirmative of what you already knew.
