I largely forgot for a long time what Bobby had to tell me about Ariel, since my concentration was on something else. Luz Marina turned out to be quite clingy, that is, she constantly held my hand and rested her head on my shoulder. Don't get me wrong, I like that a lot, because I once again feel those tickles to which I had already become accustomed and had found particular pleasure in them.. It just seemed like Luz Marina wanted all my attention, and to tell the truth she was pretty good at it. Luz Marina stood a little quieter when the nanny began to speak:

Nanny Elizabeth: Well my babies, pay attention. As you know, at this time we are emphasizing that they can learn to have baby behaviors naturally, that is, without having to pretend. The last thing they practiced was the way of speaking, now we will see another very particular behavior. Does anybody have an idea?

Andreita: The form you walk? Crawl?

Nanny Elizabeth: That's good, but it's more about the behavior, not so much the things they do with their little baby bodies. One of the things that define a lot of babies' behavior is getting out of control emotionally. I'm going to put it in simpler terms, babies laugh and cry very easily no matter where or who they are with.

Andreita: But I thought we were already doing it, right?

Nanny Elizabeth: It's true, but we want all of this to be even more marked, in order to make them more tender.

I was listening to all this very attentively, but the truth is I didn't understand much what the nanny was referring to, I was more attentive to Luz Marina, who was chuckling after having noticed that my diaper was very wet. Luz Marina looked pretty when she laughed, even like that.

Nanny Elizabeth: We are going to do a couple of very fun exercises. The first will be so that they can cry easily. Each one will have their pacifier in their mouth, and the challenge is that when I take the pacifier out of their mouth and don't give it back, they must cry, but really cry, without acting.

It was a difficult challenge, but what was clear to me was that the one who was going to find it easiest to cry that way was Sauly, since of all of us he was the baby who most easily showed his emotions.

Nanny Elizabeth: Well, let's start...

The exercise then began. Some of us had pacifiers, some didn't, so those who didn't have one were given a pacifier. Then, one by one, he called us forward. The nanny took away the baby's pacifier, but the truth is that almost no one really cried, he was very hardworking.

Nanny Elizabeth: This will be harder than I thought, we will have to do it several times.

I was relieved when nanny Elizabeth called Luz Marina to the front, I had a little time to calm down. When Luz was in front, I turned my head to see Bobby. He wasn't concentrating on class at all, he was still very thoughtful and was squeezing Bobby Jr. tightly. It must have really been something very disturbing about Ariel for Bobby to get like this.. I couldn't see Bobby for long, because Luz Marina appeared next to me again. I couldn't even see what Luz Marina had done in front.
