I explained everything to the nurse and she discreetly got the police involved. They immediately arrested him and took him away, forever.
"Please don't let him take me again," I said to the police officer.
"He'll never get out of prison," she said, "we found a lot of evidence for other crimes he committed."
I was finally reunited with my family and friends, they all came to meet my baby girl.
"Her name is Diana," I said.
"It's a beautiful name," said my mom, "and we're moving so that he could never find us again."

Once I left the hospital, life went back to normal. We moved houses, I graduated high school and started college, I got a part time job, and I was raising a baby. My mom helped out a lot.
I'll always be a little paranoid that he'll escape prison, but since we moved and legally changed our names, I don't think he'll ever find us again.
