Chapter Six-Nasty little pests

Of course, Rose loved earth too much to just leave corrupted gems causing havoc. So, the gems became a fighting force for good.
Rose had built a temple that resembled a fusion of the four of them, with a warp pad and a gem controlled door cupped in two of the hands.

There was only one problem. Humans. Those pesky little... pests. They were mildly fascinated with the gems, and Rose was very fascinated with them.

Especially when she started bringing them home and starting romantic relationships with them.

That was when she learned how short and fast their lives were.

One day, Amethyst and Pearl sat on the hill above the temple.

"Amethyst, every twenty years she's getting a new human! It's too fast! " She said cautiously.

Amethyst, who had been napping, grumbled, then said, "Yeah, stealing your woman!" She snickered.
"Amethyst!" She shape shifted in a cat and ran away as Pearl chased after her.

That's how it all happened until she met Greg.
