Tip 5: Choosing the right cast.
Step 1: Don't.
Just kidding. Feel free to add one if you want. But know that people will definitely comment: 'but I don't imagine them to look like THAT,' which is a completely valid emotion to have. We all have imaginations and are capable of creating (or envisioning) characters in books from the descriptions given.
Also keep in mind that if you have someone on the cover of your book, people are going to assume your character is portrayed by that person. So if the cover of your book is Niall Horan and your main character looks like Ed Sheeran, people are going to call you out on that.
If you decide to make a cast list, I find it easier to scour model websites and pick from there. They appear if you google search them and are less identifiable than your average celebrity.
