If I Could Do Some Rewrites, I Would

Specifically this concerns Ask Noelle and co.

Some things I would have changed about Ask Noelle if I did it now;

- Have Carol be more like Odalia Blight; not homophobic, just disapproving of scruffy chaotic disasters

- Keep some plot lines more consistent

- Have Noelle be younger when Dess left (the decision was due to me not having sprites for a younger Noelle)

- Better handling of other people's sprites, considering I particularly misused Amanda from abandoned project Broken Memories but also did this to some degree to Mopsy from Monster Friends. Both were OCs made in since-abandoned projects that I paid barely any attention to the outstanding content for. I still love their characters but nowadays I would have taken some canon character to replace Amanda and used Muffet in place of Mopsy.

- Having Noelle's love of horror actually be mentioned and developed on more

- Fixing some instances where I accidentally misgender Kris

- Cleaning up some of the road trip arc, which I rushed through at the time so I could return to form

- Generally being lazy about crediting original artists

Some of these writing mistakes I will be avoiding in other projects going forward, such as Proceed. However, I do not have the time or energy to spend rewriting Ask Noelle, and the ask-based nature makes a rewrite near impossible. Plus, it's going to be obsolete when 3 & 4 come out anyway.

Instead, I'll look into writing an expansion to the current content warning on Ask Noelle Volume 1 and  Ask Deltarune Asriel (Ask Noelle Volume 2 doesn't contain enough of this content in my opinion to warrant it).

Additionally, I'll be making dedicated credits pages on all books, published and ongoing, with creators of the assets when possible. As links aren't easily accessible in Wattpad, I'll also make a dedicated public Google Doc linking to all the necessary permissions spaces.

I'll also be going over my policy on covers. I know it's standard practice on this platform to take whatever art to use, but I am capable of drawing and designing my own covers and that is what I'll do for a couple of my projects (specifically Dess Diaries and The War of Humans and Monsters). The reason why I'm prioritising them is because I used a silhouette method on the original art and I feel now looking back that it probably made the problem worse by making the art unidentifiable. I'll also ask permission for Proceed's and the random book's cover from the original artist as well as Sunny Side Up's, and work on doing a fake screenshot-like cover for Catti's Valentine. All other covers are either made by a friend (PeachDaArtist mostly) or by myself.

Also, I'm looking for help with making my content accessibility friendly, mostly for visually impaired people that may have difficulty with the textbox format. If you know where I should start or how to approach this, let me know!

All these changes and tweaks are what I'll focus on with the time that I'm not spending on my temporary suspended projects, as well as yet another cleanup of the reading lists. Let me know if there's anything else that needs fixing or you think I've forgotten about/did wrong with this account.
