"Carter wake up" Someone was shaking my shoulder "Carter, c'mon the bus is moving!"

It was Paige. I tried to open my eyes but the light was too blinding. I pulled my beanie over my face.

"Go away" I groaned "I'm tryna sleep"

I shifted, trying to fall back asleep before Paige could bother me again. It was impossible. Paige was right though, the bus was moving again and I felt every single pothole we went over, and every time, I was jolted up.

"What time is it?" I asked Paige.

"6:02 am" She replied promptly, "And we're almost there. So better start getting ready, sleepy head!"

Ten more minutes passed before we took an exit off the highway. We were on some small little road in the middle of nowhere. The bus then turned onto some shabby dirt road. Hidden in the trees a small white sign caught my eye. It read 'Camp Freedom'. I guess we were here. I guess this was really happening.
