"AHHHH!!"
A scream was heard echoing through the closed off room
"STOP SCREAMING YOU OLD HAG, OH GOD MY EARS!"
Ace covered his ears as he shouted back at the old women tied up in the chair who just screamed her lungs off
"You'll never get anything out of me!" The old woman yelled back
"Calm down will you Mrs. Herriot?"
Mrs. Herriot- the old woman scoffed,
"Calm down? CALM DOWN?! you kidnapped me! And now you torture a poor old women such as I and you expect me to calm down?"
Ace smiled overly sweet as he leaned in,
"We both know you're not as innocent as you pretend to be. So Spill the beans, and maybe I'll go easy on you."
"I don't know anything! Let me go!"
Ace frowned in displeasure
"You're rather feisty for a dying old woman aren't you?"
Mrs. Harriot glared at ace as she spoke,
"I rather die than break for the likes of you"
Ace smirked as he raised an eyebrow and looked to the side of the room, where phoenix was watching them
"Look at her phoenix! See how different people are in reality? Would anyone believe us if we told that this annoying hag was begging on her knees when she first came to us for help"
Phoenix chuckled from the side as he walked up to ace and nudged him
"Stop playing around idiot"
Ace smiled as he winked at phoenix and turned back to mrs.harriot with a playful yet psychotic glint in his eyes
"You see mrs.harriot, I happen to be someone who firmly believes in equality- yes even for torture, so either you tell us the truth or well let's just say my subordinates share the same ideology as me and they might help you meet your god early"
Mrs.harriot shuddered as she looked down for a moment
"If I tell you everything, what would happen to me?"
Before ace could answer, phoenix cut in,
"Well, we already have some details so if your answer doesn't match with what we have then imminent death for you as well as your family, if you tell the full truth- according to the severity of your actions, you will be punished, no death for anyone in that case"
Ace threw a side glance at phoenix and looked back at Mrs.harriot chosing to not say anything.
Mrs.harriot slumped into the chair as she gave a mocking smile
"There's no way I can trust you"
Ace sighed,
"Either you trust us or die, this is taking way too long, it's testing my patience "
Mrs.harriot paused for a moment before sighing,
"Alright I'll tell you, what do you want to know about?"
Phoenix raised a hand and showed the photo he was holding
"About what you did to your employee- mr. Liam Knight and his family"
Mrs.harriot looked at the photo and grunted,
"So he's the reason I'm in this mess huh? Look, he overheard a conversation he wasn't supposed to hear so I had no choice but to kill him and staged it as an accident."
Ace raised an eyebrow
"Oh? What kind of conversation was that that it required the person who overheard it to be killed?"
