(New year's update !)
While going back to the castle, Leo was thinking all the things he could do to make his last day here with 'him' be a good memory for him, after thinking about it for quite some time he knew somewhat what he had to do.
Upon reaching, without wasting any time he took off to his destination, standing in front of the door he took a deep breath to prepare himself
Getting his rollercoaster of emotions under his control, he knocked on the door
"Who is it?" In came a reply from the person he was going to meet
"It's Leo"
"Come in" right after he said his name the reply came without a slight hint of hesitation
Taking another breath, Leo opened the door and quietly went in
Upon entering he noticed Reine standing near the window, with his back facing him
Looking at the prince who has helped him during his time in this world without himself knowing, he felt greatly thankful but knowing he was not able to do much in return made him feel bad
It was his policy even in his original life, even though he was lazy and don't require much things from people, he still remembered to repay whoever helps him.
True, he cannot repay Reine by returning the feelings because if he did so then he will be lying to both himself and Reine, so all he could do now was give him affection as much as he can
So without a second thought he walked towards the man facing the window and back hugged him, startling the person
"Leo? My love what's wrong?" Reine wanted to turn around but the other person had a death grip on him
Without giving Reine much chance to turn he spoke by burying his face on his back
"Nothing....I just wanted to be with you ..."
Noticing the tone of his lover being completely deprived of any sort of happiness, Reine was slightly concerned as he had earlier noticed how in energetic the boy was when he came over to his room, so he decided to brighten the air around them
"Hm? Did my dear Leo suddenly fall in love with me after becoming the prince who saves the princess from the villain? Come on, I won't say anything, you can declare your love to me"
His tone was filled with happiness, even though he wished for Leo to really declare his love, he still kept his tone bright inorder to make the other party at least smile
Hearing Reine's tone, Leo knew that he was trying to cheer him up but he didn't know if it was his emotions or the emotions of the original Leo that he suppressed up until now but he suddenly burst into tears, scaring the shit out of the man in his hold
Reine was beyond startled, he didn't know if he did something wrong so when he felt the grip on his waist slowly reducing he took the chance to turn, only to be met with the face of him lover balling his eyes out
He was extremely bad at coaxing people, so he didn't know what exactly to do at the moment so he did the first thing that came to his mind, he hugged the crying boy and gently caressed his hair
"Shh... Don't cry love..it hurts me to see you cry, if I said something wrong I'm sorry I really didn't mean it....I just wanted to cheer you up... Please stop crying...."
Thinking that his words would help him he continued only to later know that it did not only not help the situation, it worsened it!
Leo who was crying his eyes out was unable to hear his system who worriedly asked him what was wrong.
