Let me be lazy please!

While thinking of such things he didn't realize he had already reached his destination, the door opened from inside after ximen knocked on it and what Leo saw was two people who he assumes to be his father and sister

Leo walked towards the table and took a seat on the chair facing his 'father', the moment he sat down he heard his 'sister' snicker

''well if it isn't my little brother'' she spoke mockingly

''hello to you too sister'' Leo replied back mockingly

She looked as if she wanted to kill me for replying but before she could a voice interrupted, turning to look at the owner of the voice I was met with a pair of cold eyes which looked at me with disgust

'' Leo, when have you had any right to speak to your sister in such manner?'' his 'father' asked and Leo knew better than to piss him off as from the memory

''I'm sorry father, I'm sorry to you to sister'' Leo apologized without much care if possible he wouldn't have apologized it was only because he didn't want to be caught up in a fight as he was too lazy for that, as he apologized he heard his sister laughing

''now that's better, a useless brat like you should know your place you cannot be useful in any way towards this household and yet I allow you to stay here so at least be grateful for that, I cannot believe I have a son like you, it shames me to call you my son '' his father told him

In all reality Leo didn't feel anything when these words were spoken as he had experienced people saying such things to him before but what he didn't know was that those words spoken by his father were affecting ximen

'is that how a parent treat their children?! He might be a big figure in the society but that does not mean he is allowed to speak such rude things to the kid even if I hate him still I wouldn't go this far that is too much for a kid of his age' ximen thought as he looked at the poor kid who got scolded for doing nothing, he expected to see a sad expression of the kids face or even him crying but what he saw surprised him, he saw the boy not showing anything on his face at all but if looked carefully you could see the sadness in those heterochromatic eyes

Leo was deep in thought that he didn't notice the stare he was receiving from his butler and before he knew it the maids had started arranging the dishes in front of him, he thanked the maid who brought him his food and from the look of it the maid didn't seem surprised but just smiled at him after he turned his attention from the maid to the food he slightly frowned but recovered quickly but this small action did not go unnoticed by ximen who was confused as to why he would frown looking at the food, he thought that maybe the kid didn't like the food but was even more confused when he saw the little one looking up to see his father and sister

''my my father, you decided for Leo's favorite dish, oh how caring you are'' Leo's sister Lily spoke sarcastically

Leo was just plainly angry even if he didn't show it on his face, his 'father' purposefully asked the chef to prepare the food he had allergy to in spite of knowing it

''of course, Leo go ahead and enjoy'' his 'father' Albert said evilly

Leo stared at the food as the other two started eating debating whether he should eat or not whereas ximen was utterly confused out of his mind , the way the kid's sister and father spoke didn't sound right and seeing the little one just staring at the food made him know that something was wrong he wanted to approach the little one and ask if there was something wrong even if he knew that he was going to be punished for doing that by his master's father he still dared to go towards his young master

Leo who was too focused on the food didn't see ximen approaching him

''young master Leo?'' ximen called out seeing the little one hadn't noticed his presence
