two birds, one stone [Baxter Radic x female OC]

I want to stay. but I can't...

I see Baxter, running towards the gate "wait..just..hoo!" he seemed so out of breath "Autumn you can't leave. I-" he cut himself off and took a deep breath "I l-love you..." he whispers, pulling me closer. my eyes widen in surprise 
"you what?" I ask
"I love you...so much. please. don't leave" he stares into me eyes. I feel his face inching closer to mine. our lips finally meet in a soft, passionate kiss.
"I love you too..." I whisper as we pull away "but I can't stay...I'm sorry..." I pull away and walk through the gate. I don't look back. Baxter stood there. heart broken. he turns around and heads home.

*a month later*
I smiled as mum drove through the windy roads of shorehaven. she parks at the beach, I hop out and grab my board "thanks mum!" I shout over the car engine before running down towards the water. I put my surfboard down, in the distance, I see a farmiliar pink headed boy surfing, it looked like he was finishing up. so I waited. he came up to shore.
"BAXTER!" I shout and run down to him
"Autumn?" he asks, I jump onto him, my arms wrap around his neck and my legs around his torso. he dropped his surfboard in the process but that didn't matter, his arms wrapped around my waste and he held me tightly "Autumn. I never thought I'd see you again" he whispered.
"I missed you" I say and kiss him softly, he kisses back instantly. the sun began to rise behind us. it was the perfect moment.
