CHAPTER 9

Jacee's Point of View

It's been five months since he apologized. Well yeah, it's fine pero I can say na... he's not really there. We barely talk and meet sa sobrang busy niya. I also got busy so it's fine... I guess. He started being inconsistent. If dati he still makes time to chat with me now, inaabot na ng 1 to 2 weeks kaming walang usap. Is it even normal?

"Yes naman, ojt na siya oh." nakangiting sabi ni Cy pagkalabas ko ng bahay.

She said na since madadaanan niya naman daw yung pag-ojt ko ay sabay na daw kami. I don't know if utos pa din 'yon ni Evan or it is her own decision. Well I hope it is, sana utos 'yon ni Evan, kasi it just means na may pakeelam pa din siya sa'kin.

"Nga, pala how's your heart? Move on na ba?" natatawang tanong ko sa kanya.

"Well, I already accepted that fact before ko pa malaman." she laughed while she's driving. "But it still hurts me, the fact na hindi talaga."

"At least unti-unti right?" she nodded.

"By the way, agahan daw natin tomorrow for practice ng sayaw for camp." sabi niya kaya tumango ako.

I'm happy to see her healing, not just by herself but healing with God in her journey. She's not just a girl, she is a woman of God and we can say that you can see that in her life. By her standing, talking, or anything that she does you can see how much she loves God. Pero sometimes I compared myself to her, bakit siya nakakaya niya? Like to Jalen, masaya pa din siya after what happened kasi she has God, that's what she is always telling me, while me? I'm still stuck with Evan kahit masakit na, I have God din naman ah.

We heard a phone call and Cy answered it agad, "Hello?" 

["Can you go here quicker? Wala pa si Kap e. May nagwawala na."] napailing naman si Cy.

"Okay," the she hanged up the call. "Gosh, akala ko ba taga-stapler lang kami doon bakit taga-awat din." she faked a cry.

"OA ah, OA." natatawang pang-aasar ko sa kanya.

"Sabagay pag lawyer ka na ang aawatin mo naman is patayan." biro niya pa.

Nakababa na ako sa may pag-ojt-han ko.  My first week of working here is good. Wala namang masyadong pinagawa sa'min and in-orient lang nila kami about what may happen sa pag-wowork namin. Nang matapos na kami ay dinaanan ulit ako ni Cy.

"Can we go home sa inyo?" I asked her at tinaasan niya ako ng kilay like she's asking why. "I just want to spend my night with you."

She giggled, "Oh you mean my advices? Okay, sure." Ah this girl really, she knows me too well.

While nasa daan kami at nagda-drive siya ay nag-uusap kami about kay Evan and what is happening to us right now.

"Huh? He didn't even chat you about how are you?" she asked confusedly. "Cause to be honest, he always ask me how are you, even Ico, he's asking nga me if what happened sa inyo ni Evan e."
