Third Person's POV

As they settled into the plush comfort of the living room, Yujin, Daehyun, and Yujin's parents exchanged polite small talk, the atmosphere tinged with an undercurrent of tension and unease.

The maid entered the room, bearing a tray of snacks, which she set down on the coffee table before them.

As Mr. An engaged Daehyun in conversation, asking about her and her brother's well-being, Yujin listened intently, her curiosity piqued by their unexpected connection.

"So you girls are classmates?" Mrs. An interjected, her voice laced with a hint of curiosity. "What a coincidence. It's good to know that you are friends. You'll need that in the future."

Yujin and Daehyun exchanged panicked glances, their minds racing as they struggled to come up with a suitable response.

Friendship was the furthest thing from their minds, and the thought of pretending otherwise filled them with apprehension.

Before they could formulate a response, Yujin couldn't help but voice her confusion. "But how do you know Daehyun?" she asked, her brow furrowing in confusion.

Mr. An shared a knowing glance with his wife before responding. "Daehyun's parents are good business partners of mine," he explained, his tone casual yet tinged with a hint of significance.

Yujin's eyes widened in realization as the pieces of the puzzle fell into place. The connection between their families was not merely a coincidence – it was a product of their parents' professional alliances, a fact that had eluded Yujin until now.

As the weight of this revelation settled over them, Yujin and Daehyun couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over them.

Their parents' familiarity with one another provided a convenient explanation for their unexpected encounter, alleviating some of the tension that had hung between them.

Yet despite this newfound clarity, Yujin and Daehyun couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty that lingered in the air.

As they exchanged uneasy glances, they couldn't help but wonder what other secrets lay hidden beneath the surface of their seemingly ordinary lives – and what implications those secrets might hold for their uncertain future.

Feeling the weight of the unspoken tension between them, Yujin cleared her throat, her voice betraying a hint of nervousness. "Um, excuse me for a moment," she said, addressing her parents. "Daehyun and I need to go to my room to work on our project."

Yujin's parents exchanged a knowing glance before nodding in understanding. "Of course, dear," Mrs. An replied, her tone gentle. "Take all the time you need. And don't hesitate to let us know if you need anything."

With a grateful nod, Yujin led Daehyun out of the living room and towards her bedroom, her heart pounding with anticipation.

The real reason for Daehyun's visit – to work on their physics project – hung between them like an unspoken promise, a reminder of the connection that bound them together.

As Yujin and Daehyun retreated to Yujin's room, Yujin couldn't shake the feeling of apprehension that gnawed at her insides.

She knew she had to come up with a plausible explanation for their sudden departure, one that would satisfy her parents' curiosity without revealing too much.
