3rd Person's POV:

As Wave and her father, Arturo, drove towards her new school, her father couldn't help but notice the nervous energy radiating off his daughter. He watched as she fidgeted with her pink hair, a habit she had developed to calm herself down. He couldn't blame her for feeling anxious, this was her first time attending a school in a foreign country.

"Everything will be fine, Wavey," her father said with a reassuring smile. "It's just a simple orientation, that's all. And the school is even kind enough to give us a tour before the summer vacation ends. Not many schools do that."

Wave let out a small sigh and nodded, her nerves still evident on her face. "I know, papá, but I can't help but feel scared," she admitted softly. "I'm worried about what the other students will think of me. I'm scared that I won't be able to fit in at all."

Her father's heart ached at his daughter's insecurities. He knew how brave she was, moving to a new country all by herself at such a young age. But he also understood how daunting it must be for her to start at a school where she knew no one. Especially after being homeschooled her whole life.

"Just be yourself, Wave," he said, trying to comfort her. "I'm sure you'll make friends in no time. And remember, this is a fresh start for you. You have nothing to fear. We're just going to get you filled in and take a look around, and then we can go home. ¿Comprende?"

Wave offered a small smile, grateful for her father's words of encouragement. She knew he was right, and she would try her best to be confident and make a good impression. After all, she was excited to see what Collége Françoise Dupont had in store for her. So, in return, she simply nodded in response.

As Wave and her father arrived at the school, she couldn't help but notice the calming presence of the school principal, who stood with patience and arms behind his back, awaiting their arrival. His stout build gave off a sense of strength and authority, yet his demeanor was surprisingly calm.

The principal, Mr. Damocles, greeted Wave and her father with a warm welcome, introducing himself as the headmaster of the school campus.

Arturo then introduced himself. "I'm Arturo, it's a pleasure to meet you, señor. This is my daughter, Waverly," he said proudly, a smile on his face.

As Wave smiled nervously at the principal, he returned the gesture with a warm smile of his own, nodding in response to their introduction before leading them inside. He began explaining the basics of the school and its functions, giving them a thorough tour as he pointed out each room and its purpose.

"Here is the library, where students can study and check out books," Mr. Damocles stated, gesturing towards a large room filled with shelves and tables. "And over here, we have the gymnasium, where students can participate in various sports and activities."

Wave listened intently as the principal continued to showcase the different areas of the school, explaining their functions and how students can make the most out of their high school experience. She couldn't help but feel a sense of both excitement and nervousness as she looked around at her new surroundings.

As they continued their tour, Mr. Damocles showed them the music room, the art studio, the lecture room, each room buzzing with energy and passion. "Here, our students are able to express themselves and find their true passions," he said, a hint of nostalgia in his voice.

After an hour-long tour, they arrived at the principal's office. Arturo quickly filled out the transfer forms as Wave looked around the room, taking in the awards and honorable mentions that decorated the walls.

"Welcome to our program, Wave. We are delighted to have you as part of our school. With your passion and determination, I have no doubt you will excel here," the principal announced, shaking Wave's hand.

And as Wave and her father said their thank yous and goodbyes, she couldn't help but feel grateful for the welcoming and informative introduction they had received from Mr. Damocles. It was clear that he truly cared about the well-being and success of his students, and Wave knew she was in good hands for her high school journey.

Arturo couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as they walked down the steps of the concreted stairs. His daughter had grown up so fast and he was excited for this new chapter in her life. He glanced over at her, noticing the worry lines creasing her forehead. With a comforting smile, he patted her shoulder and said, "See? I told you there's nothing to worry about!"

Wave's face lit up with a grin as she let out a small laugh. Her father's words had always had a way of easing her nerves. "I guess I overthought too much," she replied, her voice laced with relief.

Their tour of the school had been informative, but also tiring. Arturo could see the exhaustion in his daughter's eyes as they walked back towards their vehicle. "How about we get some ice cream?" he suggested. "I'm sure we need something to refresh ourselves after that tour."

Wave's face instantly brightened up at the mention of ice cream. She eagerly agreed, and they made their way towards the nearest ice cream shop. As they sat down with their cold treats, Arturo couldn't help but feel grateful for this special moment with his daughter. He knew that no matter where life took them, their bond would always remain strong.

Really short, but I promise to make more chapters.
I've been really busy and my spring break is already coming to an end, but I hope you enjoyed! <3
