Wave's POV:

As Alya and I sat together at lunch, Alya's exclamation of shock and amusement filled the air. "Wait, you got saved by Chat Noir?! And he escorted you home?!" she exclaimed, grinning widely. I couldn't help but feel my cheeks flush at the memory, and I quickly shushed her friend, urging her to keep her voice down. I didn't want anyone else to hear about my encounter with the famous cat-themed superhero that I just met barely yesterday.

But Alya's curiosity and excitement couldn't be contained. "Girl, you have to tell me everything!" she pleaded, leaning in closer. I hesitated, knowing that she was invested in knowing every detail. But I also didn't want to draw too much attention to myself. "It was just a friendly gesture. Nothing more," I replied, shrugging softly. But Alya wasn't convinced. "Just a 'friendly gesture'? That cat is definitely into you, girl. You can't deny that you feel the same," she teased, nudging me playfully.

Heat rose to my cheeks as I blushed again, feeling both nervous and flustered at the thought. "No, I'm not! I just think he's cool...that's all," I argued, trying to play it off with a nervous giggle. But deep down, I couldn't deny the fluttering feeling in my stomach whenever the thought of Chat Noir comes to mind. I know we just met, but I couldn't help myself. Is this really what I've been missing? Love?

Alya grinned knowingly, seeing right through my facade. "Uh huh, sure. Just a cool cat," she teased, winking at me. "But seriously, you have to tell me everything. What did he say?" she bombarded me with multiple questions, unable to contain her curiosity.

And to this I laughed, feeling grateful for Alya's enthusiasm and support. I always knew she could always count on me to listen and offer advice. And as we continued to chat and giggle about the infamous Chat Noir, I couldn't help but wonder.. who is that boy beneath that mask of his?

Adrien's POV:

I wish I could say that I didn't hear Alya and Wave chatting about my encounter with her earlier, but I did. It's not like I was purposely eavesdropping, especially with Alya's voice being so loud. I have to admit, it was interesting to hear their thoughts on the whole situation.

I couldn't deny that this girl, Wave, was intriguing. There was something about her that caught my attention and I couldn't help but give her side glances when she wasn't looking. And every time Chat Noir was brought up, I couldn't help but notice her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. It was cute, really.

I was well aware that she was starting to develop a mix of feelings for my masked alter ego. And to be honest, it made me feel good. It was like I was doing something right. Even though she wasn't falling for me as Adrien Agreste, I still took it as an accomplishment.

As I heard Alya teasing Wave and making some inappropriate remarks, I couldn't help but silently chuckle under my breath. I couldn't help but smirk as I continued eating my lunch.

"Seriously, Alya, that's enough," Wave finally spoke up, her voice slightly shaky as she tried to scold her friend.

I couldn't contain my amusement and a small grin formed on my lips as I looked over at them.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as I watched her try to run away from the situation. It was clear that she was starting to have feelings for Chat Noir, and as much as I wished they were for me, I was just happy knowing that she was slowly falling for one side of me.

And deep down, I couldn't wait to see how our dynamic would change once she discovered the truth about my superhero identity. It was a risk, but I was willing to take it if it meant getting to know Wave better. And maybe.. even becoming something more with her.

As I walked out of my last class, I made sure to grab all my things before heading home. Seeing as how it was the end of the school day, most students were rushing to get out. But something caught my attention as I reached the staircase.

There sitting by the stairs was Wave, furiously writing down notes in her notebook. I couldn't help but watch her for a moment, admiring how focused she was. Even though we never really talked, I found myself wanting to at least check up on her.

Taking a deep breath, I made my way over to her and gently tapped her shoulder. She jumped slightly, clearly caught off guard by my presence. I couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt for startling her. "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," I said, rubbing the back of my neck in awkwardness.

She slowly calmed herself down and replied with a soft "It's okay." The sound of her gentle voice sent my heart racing. How could someone look so adorable at an instance? I shouldn't be falling for her. It's all going way too quick and I highly doubt she would ever like me if she found out who Chat Noir really was.

"I just wanted to see how you were doing," I stated, trying to make conversation with her.

She hesitated for a moment before closing her notebook and turning to face me. "I'm okay, just trying to catch up on notes from yesterday's classes," she answered, giving me a small smile.

I nodded in understanding. "Yeah, the first day can be overwhelming with all the information being thrown at us. Need any help?" I offered, hoping she would say yes.

To my surprise, she agreed. We spent the next few minutes going over the notes and discussing our classes. I couldn't believe how easy it was to talk to her and how quickly the time passed.

We even got to know at least a little bit about each other. It was evident that she is still adjusting to being the new student, as she mentioned this was her first experience attending a school after being homeschooled for a while. This situation brings back memories of my own past and leaves me curious about what other aspects of her life are yet to be discovered.

As we parted ways, I couldn't stop thinking about how much I enjoyed our conversation. Maybe this was the start of a new friendship, I thought to myself. And maybe, just maybe, I had finally found someone who could make my heart flutter with just a simple hello.

As Chat Noir, it was my duty to patrol the streets of Paris every night, making sure that the city remained safe from any potential danger. And tonight was no different. With my faithful staff in hand, I leaped from rooftop to rooftop, keeping a watchful eye on the dark alleys and abandoned buildings below.

As I surveyed my surroundings, I couldn't help but pause when I caught sight of the full moon rising above the horizon. Its gentle glow cast a romantic and tranquil atmosphere across the city. It was nights like these that reminded me of how beautiful Paris truly was.

I let out a soft sigh, a small smile playing on my lips. My thoughts drifted to my mother and the memories we shared together under the stars. I could almost imagine her presence beside me, admiring the same moon and stars.

As I continued my patrol, my thoughts wandered off towards her again; Wave. She intrigued me, and I couldn't deny the slight flutter in my heart whenever I saw her in person. I hoped that one day, we would get to know each other more intimately and form a stronger bond. But for now, I knew I needed to focus on my responsibilities as Chat Noir.

But for now, as I made my way back home after a long night of patrolling, I knew I needed to rest. Being Chat Noir was physically and emotionally draining, and I needed to recharge before the next day. I let out a heavy sigh, hoping that my efforts as a hero would make a difference and that my mother would be proud of me. As I closed my eyes, I couldn't help but wonder what the future held for me, both as Chat Noir and as Adrien Agreste.
